Motel 6 Pooler, GA - Savannah Airport

Stopped here on our way home from vacation to rest for the night and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service, cleanliness, and updated appearance of our room.

Need to mop the floor once in awhile

The hotel had bed bugs. We fell asleep in the hotel coming from the beach on a honeymoon. It was a long day so I expected to sleep peacefully until checkout but was woken up by bites on my ankles. We reported this to the front desk but staff was not coherent and sleepy to understand the situation. Reception told me that she couldn’t accommodate me with another room and we had to leave at 2:30am with no refund for the stay. The night audit told me to speak to day staff concerning refund after I tried to show her my ankles yet she took no photos. The staff really were horrible after a 17 hour drive I was very disappointed. Me and my wife had to sleep in the car until morning. And had further driving aches and pains. I rate this a 1 star and never recommend to anyone. Loud music outside the hotel from guest, and seems like illegal activity.

The housekeepers and front staff nice. The owner kel was nice and was very understanding of my situation. I had a mom dog and four of her puppies which were in kennels. Everything was going good thought i finally had a stable place to stay for a bit, well that was until the owners dad came back from India. He said i had to leave, he had no compassion for my situation even though people who worked there said my room was clean and the dogs were in kennels. Well i had to leave. Karma will take care of him. God (Allah) don't like ugly and he will pay for treating people horribly. Sorry his son has to endore that.

I stayed two nights. A When I walked in the place felt grubby. There were multiple dogs barking. A boy about 8 years old checked me in. If this isnt a family enterprise then theres a child labor issue there. There were enough towels, the shower was hot and the tv worked after I fiddled around with it. The light over the sink was completely smashed. Ive stayed at hundreds of hotels and this is the first time I looked really hard for bed bugs. When I came to the room the second night my card key didnt work. After they fixed that in the office, I got in the room to find out it was never cleaned between nights. I seriously wonder if the bed sheets were ever laundered. In short, too grubby to stay at and I would have left had I had a choice. Never again.

Pipes exposed dirty ceiling falling

Had to be switched to another room due to swarming termites and ants in the 1st. Front desk was easy to work with and had no problem moving me. Door of 1st room looked like it had been shoddily repaired after police had to bust it in at some point. Broken fixtures and at least one exposed, rusty screw point sticking out in both rooms. Beds feel like a wooden box with sheets over it. The AC and water pressure were great though!
