Motel 6 Richmond, VA - I-64 West

Service here is bad the worst hotel that I’ve been in my 25 years of traveling have a tv that hasn’t been programmed in more than a month that I’ve stayed here but it’s the not to cheap but cheaper one I could find

The hallways are heabily stained,and smell like an old ashtray. There are no amenities in the lobby or anything in the rooms.

We did not stay. We could not stay. It was the nastiest nightmare I had ever been in. You could not tell what color the hall carpet used to be. When we got to our room, there was a roach that crawled across the floor. The cigarette smoke smell just inside the door to go down the hall would knock you down. I have no idea how this place ever got an 8 rating.

"Terrible experience at Motel 6 richmond. Room wasn't cleaned, WiFi wasn't working, and room service was unavailable. Disappointing stay. Hope for better management in the future." I will never ever stayed again in this hotel in future

There were no blankets or covers on the beds. We could not stay and left for home

The sink faucet was broken. The toilet was broken. The bathroom door wouldn't close and we had to use a litter box to shut the door to use the bathroom. There was no smoke alarm and the security lock was broken. There were ants and roaches. We asked for toilet paper and they said they didn't have any, so we have to buy our own. I booked a non smoking room and they put us in a smoking room with a little sign on the front of the room saying it was a smoking room. We asked to move rooms and the lady at the front lied to my face and told me it was a non smoking room and that she couldn't do anything about previous people smoking in the rooms. The staff does the absolute bare minimum and the only time anyone came to fix the broken things was the day before we were leaving. Oh, there were stains on the blankets and so much dust in the room that I had to use my rescue inhaler twice a night. There was mold in the tub and under the shower head. Old food stains and roach feces on the wall. The curtains were so dusty I don't think they were ever washed. The carpet in the halls were covered in old stains and they smelled like trash and flies were buzzing around. It's either lazy housekeepers or not enough staff to keep things clean. The first day we checked it, there was some guy walking laps around the building talking to himself and arguing at people. I think he was high something, but it didn't make me feel very safe, especially when there was no security lock. Lots of noisy tenants.

I didn't really feel comfortable with people asking me about drugs and other things. Some of the staff was really nice and others had a bad attitude. I personally don't want to go back.

Upon arrival property didn’t have my reservation and told me to contact Expedia, and then I did and they soon found it. My first night I saw roaches all over my room and noted the ac unit leaking water all over the floor and under my bed. The bathroom was no different, the sink was leaking water on the bathroom floor. I notified the front desk and it was never repaired. I contacted Expedia and am still awaiting my full refund but they did offer me my one key cash back that I used. This Motel is the roach motel and horrible. Please do not stay here.

The one reason I will stay there ever not cause of the motel,but for one staff she is the supervisor she’s amazing I wish I can remember her name and how to spell it.But overall the motel was a mess the house keeper try there best to keep it clean but the property manager need to put some money in that place and get it fix.Its really a shame how I even emailed the property manager/management and never got a response and it’s been a week ago I checked in on 4/10 I sent an email on 4/11 and now it’s 4/24 and never got a reply back. I see that people go into business ONLY for the money but never for both (customer service) how rude!!!

I had to use my clothes wrapped up in a sheet as a pillow as each day the front desk told me they had no more pillows. Worst stay ever.

The Nom smoking room was full of smoke smell that it was unmanageable; The key will only work after trying 30 mins repeatedly. Wouldn’t stay again

I DID NOT GET MUCH SLEEP PEOPLE WERE LOUD ABOVE MY ROOM AND IN THE HALL SCREAMING I JUST GET THOUGH TRAVELING 15 HOURS JUST GET NO SLEEP.

Even with a hotels.com reservation and confirmation, when we arrived we were told there was not a room available.

When we check in and went to our room we didn’t have any pillows so my husband called the front desk and asked for pillows they gave us new ones

This has been a nice quiet stay, no issues, staff has been very nice and helpful.
