We stayed 4 nights and the gal at the front desk was VERY helpful and knowledgeable. It's an old motel and needs updating but you can tell they are trying to improve. The beds and pillows were great. The towels definitely need an update but did the trick. The only complaint we had was with Expedia. I called in to book the four nights and they only reserved 3 nights.... not that big of a deal. The gal at the front desk quickly help fix that which was nice. However when I talked Expedia when booking it I asked what their breakfast consisted of and he listed a great breakfast...eggs, two kind of meat, biscuits and gravy, cereal, toast and muffins, bagels, juice and milks etc. I said oh wow ok that's great I just wanted to make sure if we needed to plan to go get breakfast. He said oh no no no no definitely not!!!! On the board when we got there it said "grab and go" so I asked and told her what we were told. She said no they do not have a license to be able to have food. She did say she was going to get a hold of Expedia and tell them to stop telling people that. They did have a cooler was ice cold waters for the guests which was nice. Like my husband said that lady deserves a raise cause she did a GREAT job!!! We would stay there again because of the nice front desk gal but if we would have know there was no breakfast at all we would have paid a bit more elsewhere where it included the breakfast. Our visit ended up costing quite a bit more do to going for breakfast every day.
Well maintained property, interior looks brand new and very cared for. Rooms are clean and cozy feeling.
The BEST coffee I've ever had at a motel! Might seem silly to some but we didn't have to go anywhere right away in the morning because this stuff was amazing! Quiet room, rustic area, very nice. The only complaint I have is the step down on the outside - love the fact you could enter your room from outside but that step up is just too high. Room was clean, very happy with this place, will stay again!!
