Newlly decorated rooms, very clean. Nice pool area. Would be nice if some units had a kitchenette

This was an amazing property and we can’t wait to come back on our next trip to the island.

The room was clean and very comfortable and spacious. It was located steps from the shops and restaurants, as well as a short 5 minute walk to the beach. The only downside I can think of was the parking, you are limited to 1 vehicle. They do have a parking lot across the street but it does not belong to the motel.

Had an excellent stay at the Pelican Post on Anna Maria Island! Super clean, very comfortable, and in a great location. Can’t wait to come back!

Great proximity to the beach and dining/shopping. Also loved having a pool for those sweltering hot days after a full beach day. Very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Lavazza mini espresso machine a plus!

My husband and I have stayed at the pelican Post many times but this was our first visit after hurricane Helene and Milton. We were SO HAPPY to see that the hotel look just as good as it did before! The booking process was smooth and thanks to the girl who checked us in, our stay was made even better! She was very sweet and welcomed us back as returning customers! Our interaction with her was wonderful, so if you are reading this Janelle, thanks again – you’re the best! And kudos to the owners and the rest of the staff, you are part of the reason why we love coming to Anna Maria!

It was our first time in Anna Marie Island. We were unsure how it was going to be so soon after the hurricane. They have done an amazing job putting Anna Maria Island back together. We wanted to do our part by supporting local businesses during our stay. Our stay at Pelican Post was in a great area very close to shopping and restaurants. It was a block from the beach. We stayed in a 2 queen room. It had plenty of room with a large bathroom with walk-in shower. The pool area was very clean and inviting. There was even a small yard area with seating and cornhole set. A WI vs OH tournament took place. Met a lot of great friendly people along the way. We will definitely return to Anna Marie Island and would stay at Pelican Post again.

Excellent location. One block from restaurants and the beach. Perfect for a couples weekend away. Property was clean and well kept. Check in was super easy with texted instructions. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Seemed to have just opened, and while it looked great, there was no WiFi therefore no tv or internet. The hot tube was not in use and no communication that it was out of service. It happened that the weather was not good at all and while you make the best of it, you know that with poor weather you may spend more time at the hotel. Well we couldn’t even watch tv or hook up to it using internet. It was cold and while it would’ve been nice to use the hot tub it was out of service time we were there.

Beautiful boutique resort. Clean rooms, great pool and hot tub. Walking distance around Anna Maria Island. Parking included. I highly recommend :)

Everything was great about the property except the TV cable connection was not good. Tv froze up could not get most channels other than that everything was excellent and a great price for the location. Very nice pool and hot tub.

Let me begin by saying that we plan to stay here again. It was clean, great location, and quiet. Kind, attentive staff (via call/text). No on-site staff, though. Major inconvenience was the WiFi. We were there for 5 nights and it never worked. We had to leave and find somewhere with WiFi each day in order to work and it was def not ideal. Also, our had water under the vinyl flooring. We could hear the water sloshing and see it coming up between the planks when stepped on. After the first big rain I could see why- water was pooling outside our door (603). I contacted the front desk and they were VERY responsive. Sent someone that night to look at the WiFi and the flooring (and also fix a sink that was clogged with hair), but the only thing they actually fixed was the clog. Multiple staff throughout our stay told me they were contacting Spectrum about the WiFi but it was never resolved. The guys who came to fix everything acknowledged the floor water but said they weren’t sure what to do about it. Other than those issues, we really enjoyed it. Pool was nice. Location was super convenient. Def recommend visiting the Drift-In dive bar for karaoke (ask for Paul and read his book). Daiquiri Deck for happy hour. AMOB is nearby and staff/drinks/view were great, but food was NOT. Join The Moose before you go and use their bathrooms and food/drinks while on the beach. Beach Dog Island Essentials for beach chairs. Brunch at Slickers. Dinner at Bamboo Island. Can’t wait to go back.

This is a beautiful place to stay while at AMI, plenty of shopping within walking distance of the property, extremely clean, the beach and pier are also both a short walk away!
