Clean sheets and towels, convenient location for Smith College, good breakfast, room looks outdated for the price

We had a room in the older section (doors open to outside) as opposed to newer building with interior hallway. It was clean but a bit dated. Bed very comfortable. There was a loud banging noise periodically coming just behind the wall, probably water heater or pump. Continued at regular intervals day and night. Quite annoying. While checking in were told housekeeping was by request. No big surprise as most hotels have this policy now. We were staying 3 nights so I asked that we have housekeeping after night 2. Desk person said sure and made a note to order that for us. That morning when we left we placed all towels on the bathroom floor and tidied away our belongings to made housekeeping easier. When we returned late that evening, room had not been serviced. Not happy with that. Breakfast offerings were varied, delicious, and well presented. Dining room was clean and staffed with helpful attendant . No complaints there.

This was a motel, not a hotel as the pictures make it out to be. You get what you pay for... This place is renovated and clean but the swing over lock on my door was broken which made us slightly uneasy but everything ended up fine. We did shove the heavy arm chair interesting if it for for added security to ease it minds. Free breakfast, lobby is clean and accommodating. Comfortable bed, room had a fridge and microwave which was a nice surprise. In all, although this was not what I thought it was... It worked out just fine and the room was comfortable. Id go again and would recommend for the comfort and price

Clean, quiet, helpful staff. The wifi worked only in the lobby. This is an old facility that is in okay condition.

I used Expedia to reserve a room in Amherst Nova Scotia and they reserved a non-refundable in The Us not Canada. I need a refund because Expedia pointed me to a hotel in the wrong country!

We spent one night at The Quality Inn and were impressed with the updates and the cleanliness of the room. All the upgrades gave it a fresh, contemporary feel, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel offered great comfort and service at a reasonable price. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast offered various options.

Room had odd smell. Pillow cases smelled of smoke.

It appears that they are short staffed and under construction

It serves my purpose for the frequent visits I need to make to the Northampton area.

It was good

When I checked in the staff was wonderful. But it went down hill from there. The room had an overwhelming smell of fragrant cleaning products. And there was a fly in room. I needed to sleep and did not want a fly flying around my face. I asked the front desk if there was another room. They switched me to a difffent room. The second room also had a overwhelming cleaning product smell and another FLY! But more problematic was the WiFi was intermittant. SO I asked if I could switch to another room. The third room did not smell nor was there a fly but the bolt lock on the door did not engage. I went back to the 1st room. got a flyswatter and slept.
