What Guests Say About Their Stay

Quality Inn was a nice location near enough to major attractions and parks, but far enough away to not have much traffic to deal with. The staff was nice and friendly, and the room was clean and well maintained. I would stay at this location again for a future trip.

Staff was great. Pool was nice. TV was good but I would like a better channel setup. I would also like more electrical outlets besides the one by the bathroom sink to coonect phone at night. Breakfast was okay for the price. I would stay there again.

I and two of my friends stayed overnight to be closer to an educational day event. Our room was nice and cool upon arrival, as well as clean. The only complaint I would mention is the toilet was not seated firmly on the floor, causing a loud noise every time a person sat on or got off the toilet.

Had to wait about 10 mins for some one to check in around 9 pm. Room was ok. The carpet on floor was soiled and dirty, seemed like it was not shampooed in years. The beds were pretty comfortable . Room was cleaned every other day.

The hotel is nothing like the pictures shown inthe hotels.com app. It is very run down. The sheets and beds were clean. Neither time we went to the pool was the pump on. Breakfast was waffle, bread for toast, donuts from a bag, or cereal and coffee was in small cups. They locked one of the lobby doors to keep you from taking food to your room. VERY DISAPPOINTED for Quality Inn

When we arrived, there was NO ONE around. The office was dark with a single light on in the back rooms. Wasn’t even sure it was open. When checked the door, it was unlocked. Went in and called out several times saying hello is anyone here? Took a whole 3 to 4 minutes for anyone to respond. When he did come up to the desk, I told him that I had reserved on hotels.com for a handicap accessible room, and he immediately wanted my credit card and said that he did not see where it said handicap accessible request. Not to argue with him, I told him that as long as it was wheelchair friendly meaning that my husband could get around in a wheelchair in the room and was close to an elevator or on the first floor. It should be fine. He assured me that everything was good to go and told me not to put the key next to the phone because it would deactivate the room key. We drove around the building to where our room was located in immediately noticed that there was a broken fence right across from our room. I let that go thinking that maybe there has been a recent accident and they hadn’t had time to fix it yet. However, when we went into the room and tried to close the door, it would not close…it kept bouncing back at us. I tried to engage the bolt and the bolt would not engage. I looked up and saw that the door had been dented in and the chain lock had been removed. We immediately decided that we did not feel safe there as we have a two year-old daughter. We checked out.

The “breakfast” consists of waffles, bread and cereal with milk and terrible coffee. My boys were hungry. They do not eat waffles… Even cheese sandwiches would be better. The property itself is old and very “tired”. They charge you extra $10 even if you paid the whole price ahead.

Upon checking in, the sheets in the room were not clean so we had to go ask for new sheets (and change them ourselves). The floors in the room were quite dirty and in desperate need of a cleaning. The shower faucet had to be tightened so tight just to get the water to stop dripping in the shower/tub. In the morning, at the breakfast setup in the lobby, one employee was complaining to another about something that happened. The employee had no reservation when it came to using profane language which was not very professional at all.

The room was clean and nice, however this hotel was located across the street from a bar, which had loud music playing until late that night. Had a terrible issue with Key card for our room and no elevators. I had to go back and forth several times to get into our room, which made us late for a cheerleading clunic. The Front desk clerk had a hard time getting into our room as well. Upon arrival I was informed of an additional charge of $8.94 and I was told it was a remaining balance for the Hotel room. I paid the full amount through the Hotel app for this room and don't understand the additional charge. Other than that my stay was good.

It’s the place you stay when you can’t afford the nicer places and it’s all you have available. The staff was nice, but the desk clerk seemed to double as the only housekeeping. The bathroom was clean, with the solid surfaces than can be cleaned at least, but the carpet and A/C reeked of mold. My red itchy eyes and sneezing confirmed what I smelled. The towels seemed to be washed with straight bleach added, as my skin let me know as I’m sensitive to that as well. The bed was way too hard, but I travel with a rolled up egg crate bed topper for just that reason, and that made it ok. I’m on a tight budget when I travel for work, so I’m ok with older furniture and the property needing updates, but the mold and the musty smell made it one step below what I’m comfortable with. The clientele is an odd mix along that part of 192, there were some retired aged vacationers, seemed to be families with young kids as there was a nice little playground for them, and quite a few guests traveling with work trucks. Pretty sure when I first arrived, there was a guy meeting up with an escort in the room a couple doors down (no judgement, just an observation), so all types in that area. Everyone kept to themselves and it was quiet at night. Really, if they could steam clean the carpets and fabric covered headboards, and a good cleaning of the A/C units, it would feel much cleaner. Because most lodging has gone to dynamic pricing, it was far to expensive for what I experienced.

It was clean but seemed a little outdated. Deadbolt was hard engage and disengage, remote to the tv was taped together and didn't work all of the time. Not enough accessible plugs. Had to crawl under the desk to access a plug or plug it in the bathroom sink area (not convenient). Not a good selection for the continental breakfast. For the most part it was clean and comfortable for the price. 7 out of 10.
