New clean 3 elevators so don't need to wait at all. No daily chambermaid. Plenty of parking and not near any school or other venue so charging $7 a day is absurd money grab. The hotel experience itself was wonderful . Clean new rooms comfortable. VERY soundproofed and quiet though on a main artery.

Room was small but adequate. Cleanliness was impeccable. Bed linens were nice but a king bed should have four pillows of the same density. The shower control knob was missing and there was no control to change between overhead and handheld heads. A huge surprise was a charge for parking in the hotel parking lot. I was there less than 12 hours and at the minimum, you are required to pay for 24 hours. Worst of all, this charge was not advertised. We’re told if you don’t pay, you will be ticketed. This is a separate charge from the room. I’ve paid for parking in big cities before and it is always advertised up front and paid to the hotel.

Hotel was overall fine. Check in was slow. The receptionist who welcomed us picked up a phone call a minute into our check-in and for the next 10 minutes, kept on talking over the phone without handling our check-in until we had to move to another receptionist. We asked for a quiet room and while the room itself was nice. It had a rumbling noise of either water, pipes or something similar. On the day of departure, although departure was supposed to be at noon we got woken up early in the morning by housekeeping who were surprised that we were still in the room.

Had to change room after first night. Large HVAC units right outside made first room too noisy. Second room quieter but tub did not drain, phone did not work and several electrical outlets did not work.

Platform for bed were "shin" level, presumably for wheelchair bound, toilet seat was loose, got water on floor in bathroom trying to figure out how to turn it on, called front desk for light we couldn't find the switch for to turn off- very quickly came to correct it, a simple note on the wall could have identified the switch ( looked like a bolt) on the wall.
