Most places parking fees come off security deposit when leaving but here you pay up front plus $150 security, steep. 3 of the elevators don’t work right so you have to go to the fourth floor then get off to catch another elevator. No on sight restaurants and no places to charge an ev car

The service lady gave me a hard time on the elevator because we had no choice but to take the service elevator but she stopped when she saw the security guard guiding us out of the elevator when it stopped. She was literally arguing with me down to the 1st floor. There was a broken bottle on the staircase after we had to walk down15 flights of stairs and the take that service elevator down the last 2. There were 2elevators broken. We had no choice but to take the stairs because we would still be there waiting for an elevator, they were all packed. The Waterpark is a separate fee and should be included. You don’t get the room cleaned if you only stay 2 nights but the price is so high and you have to ask for more towels. The breakfast buffet wasn’t that great but was $20 a person and the pancakes were cold. The security guards were very helpful as the front desk and we got a side ocean view so that was nice. The bathrooms in the Terminal had no soap at first but eventually there was. All that money to stay 2 nights, just disappointed.

Our room was clean and recently renovated. The hotel was noisy all night long. All restaurants were closed for renovations and we had to leave premises for coffee.

They had several options to entertain the kids and that was great. However the rooms are a little out dated. Not may dining options. Discount for the waterpark must be obtained thru the front desk first. They can’t give you a discount at the waterpark admission desk. I went during spring break maybe that’s why it was over crowded

Overall this is one of the best rooms in AC. However, we got a room that was not refurbished this time. The advertising did not match the in room amenities and there was not a full bed in addition to the king bed. We notified the front desk right away, but they did not seem to care nor did they offer any type of compensation or rectify the lack of sleeping space. This hotel is hit or miss with rooms and helpful staff.

The hotel was messing, a lot of restaurants were closed. An what was open was horrible. The rooms were outdated an stain furniture, the hall ways smelt like an old folks home. Alot of the elevators took forever an were very dirty. A couple of the floors with abandoned and trash, glass broken all over an holes in walls. The whole building is veru outdated. The only good thing was the staff we spoke to were veru nice.

The Showboat has definitely built up since I was there last. Which is great. But pets should not be on same floor as non pets. Also extra air fresheners throughout so it doesn't smell like wet dog when raining. Also rooms need microwaves.

We got a standard king room for one night, no waterpark passes so I can't speak on that. The price was $286 and after fees and taxes it came to $330.
The carpets and walls in the hallways seemed dingy. The room itself looked nice, apart from the only view out the window being another part of the building.
As soon as we walked in the room it reeked of marijuana. I don't care if people do it, but I didn't want to get hit with the cleaning fee because at check in we were told no smoking or vaping of any kind. I called the front desk and the person wasn't necessarily rude, but seemed to be rushing me and said "okay I'll make a note of it and send someone up to spray". Which they did and it ended up smelling fine after but I still wasn't thrilled with the customer service.
The bed was just a thin mattress on a metal box spring/frame deal and there was only a flat sheet on the bed. There also wasn't any toiletries included in the bathroom, which I don't know maybe isn't a requirement but I thought all hotels included them. Not here.
The worst part though was the people that were yelling and running through the hallways numerous times throughout the night and every time that happened, someone's dog across the hall started barking. Then in the morning we had the lovely experience of being woken up at 7:30 to the lady next door yelling at her kids and blasting music.
All in all, a pretty crappy experience would not go again unless maybe paying for a better room.

This place is concerned about their bottom line, not the experience. Don’t be fooled by the images of renovated rooms. The number of renovated rooms is less than 100 out of over 800. There were blood stains on the lampshades, white powdery substance on the carpet, water and mold from a leaking mini fridge that didn’t work. Gross stuff dripping down the wall, burn marks on the bedskirt, nasty stains on the chairs, mold under the window, mold on the shower ceiling. The place is a dressed up turd. No smoking policy, but I’m sure I would pop positive on a random drug test after staying here. Customer service said they would have a manager contact me regarding the condition of my room. I have yet to receive a call. It was my first time in NJ and I don’t need to come back.

The floor we were on was extremely outdated and the room was worse! The sofas had disgusting stains on both of them, the bathroom was half ass cleaned and the carpet smelled like wet dog! Good thing I took pictures of everything and was able to get a refund back on “hotel service”! Only thing that was nice was the brand new water park!

I like that it’s very kid friendly ….but the hotel room itself needs updating, the bed was uncomfortable. More options needed for dining, the current dining is under construction. Would not recommend staying here…would stay somewhere else and visit there for the day

The rooms furniture was grimy but well kept. The other rooms doors were loudly slaming at all hours as people exited and entered their rooms. There was garbage throught the hotel. It was mostley outside garages elevators, and on some floors elevator. I was on the VIP line to pick up my key and I had to wave my hands up and down to get 1 of 3 front desk works to attend my. They kept calling next to the people on the non VIP line.
