Since it's a 3 star hotel, you are not getting anything fancy. I expected the bare essentials but unfortunately, they didn't deliver.
Housekeeping went into the room but only emptied the garbage cans. They didn't make the bed or replenish any needed items. I had to visit the front desk for toilet paper, etc. The worse was there were a few gnats flying around - we think coming from the bathroom sink. The bed was comfortable, employees friendly and the breakfast had good variety but I won't be staying her again.

The room was clean. The beds were a little hard for my preference. There were people sleeping on the sidewalk across from the entrance. Reggie that checked us in was fabulous. It was easy to use the in and out valet. The breakfast staff answered our questions but seemed inconvenienced by us being there. I was surprised that staff would push by and not acknowledge your existence. I felt like what they were doing was more important than being polite and waiting. Example they would get on the elevator first, squeeze by you without apologizing, listening to music on speaker phone and caught up in conversations with each other ignoring you. The whirlpool was broken. The elevator in the Kress historic building was broke half of our stay. The double queen suite was nice. It was quiet. Not sure if I would stay there again. Would be 5 stars if staff was better and the whirlpool/elevator worked.

Reggie at the front desk was outstanding! Not only was he friendly and took the time to explain the amenities of the property, he also took time to show us around parts of the property. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet. Breakfast was okay, but the staff were all incredibly attentive and friendly. I would Def barely stay here again. 5/5 stars.

It was a good experience, staff was friendly, quick to accommodate our need and the location was great to downtown Beale St and FedEx Forum so we pretty much walked everywhere, the rooms were clean. My only complaint is the hotel has an old smelling scent to it but that could be because it's an old building.

Excellent location in downtown Memphis. Very clean, except for the workout area at a gymnasium smell. :-( Also, we did not anticipate a $35 mandatory valet parking fee.

I really enjoyed the hotel services at the SpringHill suites, downtown Memphis, Tennessee. The customer service was very helpful, warm and friendly. This hotel property is very convenient for me and my family because you are right in the heart of Downtown Memphis. I love how we were close to every dining restaurants, live music venues, and historic sites. Also I love how every place you go is 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
I love how the staff workers gave the best customer service support and it was very professional. Also I want to thanked house keeping staff for providing fresh towels, fresh washcloths and keeping our room fresh and clean.
I highly recommend anyone who is visited Memphis, Tennessee. I would suggested this hotel location in downtown Memphis.
