Staybridge Suites ORLANDO ROYALE PARC SUITES by IHG, an IHG Hotel

First time staying at this property because it’s more accessible than the one I usually stayed (without a car). Overall a below average stay, partly due to Expedia. Pros: -Close proximity to theme parks and other local attractions like old town -You can access the entire property without a car -Staff are pretty friendly Cons -Needs a lot of updates even inside the room; the fridge is pretty much a joke you are better off with placing perishable on top of the AC; the kitchen and bathtub drains slow, broken furnitures, flickering lights, grouts popping out on random places, stains on bathtub etc -I didn’t request house cleaning during my short stay, but I noticed a half/emptied spaghetti box in the top shelf which tells me housekeeping probably do not do a through cleaning between stays -Only limited utensils in the room including a couple spoons, NO FROKS, a couple knifes; when I called the front desk about it I was informed that this is normal and they will bring some over if requested- and we waited for so long I ended up walking to the front desk twice to request them -The elevator that’s closest to our room was constantly out of use and we had to take the stairs multiple times during our 2 nights stay The worst part of the stay was the check out. The free late check out that comes with my Expedia status wasn’t a guarantee and we were basically evicted from our room. Never ever in my life I was this humiliated. The $25 “compensation” from Expedia was an added insult.

It was a older room for the same price as paying for one of the renovated . I have stayed several times and this time was horrible compared to others in the past , it's been a couple years and I expected better.

Parking fee of $11.75 not disclosed in advance. They say they aren’t responsible for what cheaptickets / Expedia puts on their website. 30 mins to check in due to everyone upset about the extra fees

Dirty and hotel just rented name of brand It s not stay bridge hotel where I used to stay. Charged me parking fee and resort fee too. For what? They have only swiming pool only.

All staff were friendly and helpful. Could use more silverware in the room. Rooms clean, dark, and quiet. Very spacious. Breakfast a little different every day, which is great! Pool was nice and clean. Hours were grsat to enjoy after a long day.

Requested a room on the first floor and when i got there they had it ready great staff and a gentlemen by the name of Diego was very helpful when checking in and checking out

During breakfast, I and my wife has been a few times, what is our room number. That made us uncomfortable. When I asked why they are asking the room number, they have not provided any reason.

Diego was awesome as well as all staff that serviced us.

The staff was very nice but I had no sheets or pillows or bedding for the sofa bed they told us we have to call to get that but the pool was nice and the beds were completely but the sofa bed hurt my husband back

Amazing room size for a family. 2/2 and Kitchenette was perfect. Can’t beat the pricing and location! That said, property could use some basic improvements. Rooms were clean, carpets need cleaning. Generally, property is in alright condition. Breakfast is included, but not best quality, but you can feed your kids a decent breakfast and keep moving without worrying about inflated prices elsewhere. I’d stay again.
