Great stay, lived location hotel is beautiful

Great hotel for a business trip or small family. The rooms are freshly updated, spacious, and have a nice separate sitting room and bedroom. Bed is comfortable, water pressure in the shower is outstanding, and the table area is perfect for getting work done. The parking fees are comparable with every other hotel in the Galleria area, and valet is fast with bringing your vehicle out. My only real critique is the lighting in the rooms. My room had bright white/daylight style bulbs rather than the warmer color temperature I would expect in a room like that. It makes an otherwise very nicely designed room feel a bit cold and stark. I'd recommend changing that.

Overall, the hotel was nice. Clean. Nice bar in the lobby. The staff that I encountered were pleasant. The rooms were very nice. Just missing a microwave. But nice experience overall.

We went to Houston to see a concert during the month of December and they had the property beautifully decorated and had a bar setup as a winter wonder land. We plan on going back next year just for that. Hopefully, they will keep doing it.

Great location

Good hotel for the price, and conveniently located. The service was not great, but didn’t ruin the experience or anything. The girl working the reception desk during was especially rude, but everyone else was fine.

The best

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall good experience. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick, which I really appreciated. One of the highlights of my stay was the bar. The bar staff were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They really made the experience feel welcoming and added a personal touch to my evenings. Parking was easy to access and convenient, though I did find it to be a bit on the expensive side. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

First off, I had an awesome experience during my stay. However, I did find it a bit inconvenient that the rooms didn’t come with trash bags, and I had to bring my own. This was especially challenging since I was there for a business trip and was always in a rush. The main reason I’m writing this review is to give kudos to the incredible staff. I believe her name is Graciela, and there was another gentleman who kindly brought me trash bags (I unfortunately forgot his name, but thank you to him as well). Both were incredibly polite and friendly. Graciela went above and beyond by bringing me a microwave so I could have a late meal one evening, and I truly appreciated that. It’s the little things like this that make a big difference, and I believe employees who go the extra mile should be recognized. I’m always grateful when people take pride in their work and give it their best effort. I just wanted to make sure management knows about the excellent service I received. Thank you again!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The hotel is beautiful! No problems with check in. The Houston Galleria is right across the street. Plenty of restaurants and shops within 15 minute drive of the hotel! If I return to Houston, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, lobby smelt good. They charged for parking… in their garage for their guests.

I usually have a great stay at the Chifley but this time not so favorable. Housekeeping didn’t clean my room for 2 days, my stay was only for 3. Room service brought me cold coffee and it was a significant delay to get another one. The front desk/text concierge was not that accommodating.

Room was good and everything was clean. Just spent a quick night.

Very nice property. $32 per night for parking is a bit much though.

Parking is in a garage in the back- my 95 year old grandmother couldn’t have dealt with that for handy cap parking. I dropped her at front door and parked each time. This is a nice hotel next to the Galleria. Staff were nice, breakfast was abundant and included in our stay.

My 6th stay! Great location, great hotel!
