Great, central location, the Powell’s Books sign was visible out our window. Parking was cheap and easy using the SpotHero app. Will stay here again when in Portland.

They will try and run your card for damage fees even if the room is perfect, since changing from the ace it’s become very scammy

Was looking for something whimsical and historic and I definitely got that with this pick. Super easy check in and out online, didn't even have to talk to anyone. Would love to stay here again when I come back to Portland.

Our second visit to this hotel. The first time was exceptional. This time we weren't happy with the room assigned to us (we were staying for six nights). Went to front desk where the clerk seemed annoyed that I was asking for help and said she was leaving in 30 minutes and that I should contact support myself via text. Contacted support and waited nearly three hours for someone to help (after being told they would prioritize my request to management), no one ever did. We were eager to unpack and settle in, so we ended up staying in the room with the (telephone booth like) shower in the middle of it.

This was a nightmare. There is no front desk person to help and when my reservation that was done through Expedia wasn’t in their system I had to rebook and double pay. I also had tons of trouble just locating the code to get into the shared bathroom. Probably my bad for not reading the fine print but when do you ever expect to NOT have a bathroom in your hotel room! Awful

I loved the pre check in, so I didn't have to go to the desk. We went straight to our room and loved the look of it. It had music bands plastered all over the walls. Loved the keypad entry and how it automatically locks behind you. Love the hostel feel. Only thing I didn't like is no parking lot. Had to pay to park $38 at a nearby garage 6 blocks away for the duration we were there. It was a 9 min walk but it wasn't too bad. Maybe try to find a way to get a discount with the spot hero app? But overall was a great experience and would stay here again.

Staff, bed comfort, bedroom, amenities, bathrooms were all nice. However there is a lot of noise from outside (there was a loud party on the next building's roof, just 1 floor under our window -on our night of arrival until 11pm) Also the air conditioning unit in the bedroom was very loud. No microwave in the room. I would come back though as it is very well situated and close to everything downtown Portland.
