I stayed before and it was such a lovely visit. This time was more disappointing. I was asked what time I was coming, which I shared. When I arrived there was no one at the desk. There was a sign saying she had stepped away with a number to text and call, . I tried both options and no one responded. It was after eight pm and I was exhausted. I waited twenty minutes before she arrived back. She was kind and apologized, which I appreciated. Though when it’s late and you are tired, I felt twenty minutes was a long time to wait for your room. Plus, don’t put out a number and not respond to calls or texts. The other thing is when I went up to the room, the door was wide open. As a solo female traveler I felt uncomfortable with that. I don’t know who was in there before I got there. What guests could go in and out. So those were my big complaints. Again as a female solo traveler coming in late, they seemed important to me. The place itself is cute and clean. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is nice. I am not certain I will stay there again by myself.

Quaint, comfortable but limited amenities.

It’s a great location but the overall quality is not great. Staff seems very limited, it’s an old home so noise from creaky floors and neighboring and upstairs room was more than ideal. Our air conditioning was not working, stopper in sink was broken. Overall dissapointing experience.

Lovely old building. Cosy and picturesque. Wish I had know that my room was on the 3rd floor because it got hard climbing those stairs after a while. A clock in the room and some lights in the hallways would have been nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable parlor to hang out. Breakfast was minimal.

The Lenox Collection sites were elegantly & beautifully appointed & optimally located, with walkabiliry to restaurants & commerce in picturesque Lenox. Staff member, Logan, who served in multiple capacities-from check-in/out to breakfast serving, constantly went above & beyond the call of duty-& was terrific. The continental breakfast, which included fruit, Greek yogurt, granola, (my typical fare-which was comforting)-& croissants or bagels, + hard-boiled eggs, as well as juices and coffee, was tasty & nourishing. The Ass’t manager & her husband were ultra-considerate & helpful. Maybe more bathroom counter space, & a table in the bedroom would have helped with my daily routine-but my gorgeous outdoor access was divine! Thank you! ❤️

This property was an older home that was very well kept. The rooms had been renovated and all of the services were good. We arrived late but they had everything set up for us leaving doors and rooms open for us. The other property served a continental breakfast in the morning which was conveniently located near-by.

Was greeted upon arrival by a friendly front desk employee. Room was very nice. Had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. At breakfast we were greeted with a warm welcome and the food was fresh and well attended to. Friendly young man was working very hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Excellent job. (I think his name was Logan?)

Needs updating … room was slightly musty with a view of stairs and a walkway … very uninspiring… if you plan on not spending anytime in your room other then to sleep then fine. Check in person was surely and unfriendly and very much resentful that I booked on Expedia

This was our second stay at The Constance. We absolutely love it! The staff is friendly and helpful, the property is beautiful and comfortable, the continental breakfast is just enough, with plenty of choices, and the location can't be beat! Can't wait to visit Lenox again!

I really liked staying at the Constance. The staff was responsive and friendly. The room on the third floor was quaint and comfortable. The building is attractive and clean. It’s in a great location, close to Tanglewood and Kripalu. The continental breakfast was very nice with hard boiled eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt ect. There is a few snacks out for when when you first arrive. I hope to come back.

A cute place to stay for the weekend. Quiet, clean, scenic, and great staff.

First floor room small for King Bed. sterns in windows had cobwebs and small porch peeling paint , view of a rusty bulkhead. Needs some maintenance outside. Request a room not on first floor would be my advice.
