Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa

Lengthy delay to check in and check out- only two staff on check in desk and challenging wait due to heat and humidity. Resort should consider extending the closing time during summer- it closed at 7pm. Rooms were clean but require some Maintenance required as air conditioning stopped working during the evening and damp smell in one of the rooms. Rooms are fine but need some refurbishing as stains on couch

Perfect for kids between 3-10. There is an endless list of things to do for kids and the whole property is kept immaculately. We loved our stay. The only thing is that the hardware of the hotel room and hotel building that we stayed at are pretty old. Fridge is old and not cold, plugs don’t work, lock is semi broken. I think a bit of small upgrade would be very helpful. But the overall resort is really well managed and the private beach is one of the best in Asia.

Pros: The resort provides great service with fantastic dining options, and plenty of activities for families. Staff were friendly and attentive, and overall the property has great potential for a luxurious beachside escape. Cons: Our stay was seriously marred by hygiene and maintenance issues. I woke up with multiple bed bug bites all over my legs — painful and incredibly distressing. Although we only reported it after our stay, the incident suggests poor room upkeep, possibly due to high occupancy and rushed cleaning routines. On top of that, the kids’ pool had broken tiles that remained unrepaired — dangerous and unacceptable, especially around children. The resort clearly needs to prioritize proper maintenance and cleanliness, or it risks ruining what could otherwise be a 5-star experience

This has always been a go to resort for me when visiting Danang. The resort is beautiful, clean and the service is great. You get access to your own private beach which has beautiful sunrise and sunset views. We stayed in the executive suite that was very spacious and loved waking up to the sunrise every morning. The food was also amazing which is hard to find when you're staying in a resort. Will be back as always.

room felt outdated and we could not close the door properly and the kids pool where the inflatables were, watwr needed a bit of a clean. everything else was great

Loved our stay here! We got a complimentary upgrade to a sea view residence and the room was massive. Room was clean and we had pretty much everything we could need in the apartment. Their buggy pick-up times were a little slow so depending on where you're located, you might have to walk if you're going to the restaurant next to the lobby.

Our stay at the Hyatt was bliss! The 3 bedroom residence we booked was clean, modern, spacious with great views. The pool and beach were beautiful. Air con was great. We had a fabulous stay

Very nice ocean view from the hotel room. Clean and beautiful private beach. Large and spacious swimming pools. Children friendly and lots of activities and facilities for children.

Disappointed and Unsafe Experience – Not What We Paid For We booked and fully paid for a 3-bedroom beachfront villa at the Hyatt. However, upon arrival, the front desk informed us that due to a “system error,” our villa was unavailable and they could only offer us a garden view villa instead. After insisting on what we had paid for, the staff asked us to “help them out” by agreeing to stay in the garden villa for 2 nights and then move to another. I had just arrived after a long international flight and was feeling very sick, so I reluctantly agreed. Shockingly, just a few hours after checking in, a metal frame from the second floor came loose and fell directly onto my niece’s chair, narrowly missing her head. We reported this dangerous incident immediately, and the hotel moved us to another garden villa. They assured us that we would be refunded the price difference between the beachfront and garden villas—over $1,000. During our stay, we saw another family staying in the beachfront villa we had originally booked, which was upsetting. Before checking out, I asked again about the refund, and the staff claimed they had already handled it through Expedia (since we had booked through them). I trusted that was true. After waiting the 3 days as instructed, I contacted Expedia and found out Hyatt had never reached out to them at all. Eventually, Expedia processed a partial refund of only $260, far less than the actual difference. This entire experience—from the bait-and-switch

Great location and nice beachfront property.

Room was ok and need minor update.

Unfortunately, our stay at the property did not meet our expectations. The hotel felt overwhelmingly large and lacked warmth—it had more of a concrete, industrial feel than a welcoming atmosphere. The staff seemed preoccupied, likely due to a large business event taking place, which made the service feel impersonal. Our suite was disappointing, with a surprisingly small bed and dated furnishings. While the sea view was lovely, it didn’t quite make up for the overall experience in the room. Breakfast at the Regency Club was very limited, and we were surprised to learn that using the main breakfast area required an additional charge, even for suite guests. On a more positive note, the kids club was excellent and definitely a highlight for families. However, the on-site farm was underwhelming, with only two animals, which was a letdown for the little ones. Overall, the hotel is very large and lacks a personal touch. The rooms could really benefit from an update to improve the guest experience.

Private beach. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Safe location. Beautiful property. Handicap accessible.

Our villa was fabulous and so spacious. The location was so nice next to the beach. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food especially the morning breakfast was amazing… best breakfast ever. I works definitely stay here again.

Excellence experience.

Great location, wonderful beach access, amazing customer service. A few details that should be taken care of in the hotel room: 1) The AC unit was too noisy. The compressor should be changed or repaired. The thermostat needs to be calibrated. 2) The L-shaped sofa had dirty stains. 3) The wall decoration needed some touch-ups. 4) The room should have a small desk to put laptop on. 5) Wall receptacles did not fit well to my computer and cell phone adapters.

Place was beautiful. Lisa at the front desk made our stay amazing. They were hosting a triathlon and our room was right in the middle of it all, not at all relaxing. Lisa moved us to a quiet location and we couldn’t have been happier. Even with the event going we didn’t feel the crowd at all. Staff was friendly and super helpful. The beach was beautiful.
