It was a great experience! Lovely hotel. It's like you turn back to olden times. I like the structure and the interior elements. It's the old Saigon. The staff are very helpful and they are very accommodating. The hotel is just in front of the Saigon Plaza. I love the whole set up. I got chocolate from the staff also at night. Lovely hotel! My business trip was amazing with that hotel! I can work and at the same time enjoy the view.

We got right up to the check in desk, but it took over 20 minutes to get checked in. The girl was very nice though. Our room was very disappointing, with major construction going on right below our room. We wanted to relax before going out, but the room was reverberating with loud music & someone screaming on a microphone for over 90 minutes. We finally called the front desk & they said they would investigate. Couldn't take it any more, so went to leave hotel. The girl that had checked us in confirmed that there was a major party going on in the room below ours. They didn't offer to move us or compensate us... they just basically said sorry about your bad luck. Rooftop bar was supposed to be famous, which was why we went WAY out of our way to stay there. But the food was terrible & the wines worse. Overall not at all worth the ridiculous amount of money we spent. Service was very slow. The one positive was the lovely breakfast buffet, but they charged us $5 for a glass of orange juice at the buffet. What? We've traveled extensively on 6 continents & this place was a huge disappointment.

Location is hard to beat, very central within District 1. Close to major malls and Ben Thanh market. It has an old charm in it, inheriting it from its history. Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend it - for its price and location, it’s worth it.
