Flamboyan on the Bay Resort and Villas

Loved the location, cleanliness, & restaurants. The only complaint is that the bed was way too hard.

This is my third time staying at flamboyan I love this place will be staying again in the future

For a one bed, they could toss out most of the dishes and just keep that smaller amount clean, Translation, the dishes were stinky. Killed a palmetto bug, but it wasnt a surprise. The main hot tub was broken down… and apparently has been, “since the hurricane”. The room, which was set at a crisp 62 degrees, never got below 75. For a cheap hotel, it delivered, but for a “4-star hotel”, it fell short of expectations. However, I have to mention Northside Grind. They were incredibly friendly, tasty, & clean. It was absolutely unexpected and pleasantly surprised.

The resort is close to Magens bay beach which it'sgreat. It is old, the bathroom door didn't close well. It was supposed to be 2 bedrooms, but the bedrooms are open, there are no doors. The villa has lot of steps inside, and a spiral staircase to the room upstairs that might not be convenient for families with younger kids.

Everything was phenomenal from the views to the cats!

We checked in at 3:30 and did not get a room until 5:30. The house keeping had not cleaned 3 of the rooms that we looked at. Very disappointed

I enjoyed my stay at this place, very peaceful, BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!! But when they say the lights go out!!! They mean it, the whole resort went black and stayed black for about 1hr, it was pretty hard to get a taxi because it’s soooo far away from everything, so this would definitely be a spot if you just want to stay in, if you are afraid of cats!!! Please do not come here, I love cats soooo I enjoy them, they are very friendly they don’t just walk up on you. The restaurant on the resort WAS AMAZING 10/10 and the coffee shop OUTSTANDING!!!and if you ever decide you want to get some beautiful words of encouragement please talk to the lovely angel Barbara!!! She is a treasure ❤️❤️❤️❤️…. I give it a 8/10 only because it’s hard to get a taxi and the 1hr black out!!!! Beside that, it was clean and I loveeeee the view !!!

I loved my stay at the Flamboyan! It had everything you need, bar, restaurant and most importantly a coffe shop that was excellent! Wanda at the front desk at check in was an absolute sweetheart! She took care of all my needs! I will definately stay here again!

Beautiful and Clean property. Breathtaking views. Very Friendly staff. Fantastic restaurant on-site. Due to the location, I recommend renting a car (no group tours pick up from this site). Close a beautiful beach (Magens Bay). Quiet. I loved my room. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much for the hospitality Flamboyan Resort!

We gave this an average rating because the main hot tub was empty and unusable and the gift shop was not available. The rooms were clean and well-equipped and the restaurant was wonderful!

This hotel is a nature lovers paradise. Nestled in the valley with perfect views of the bay, cats and chickens roaming the property, and the sounds at night from the wildlife is fantastic. It is an older property so not perfect on tidiness, but the rooms were clean and spacious. Brooks bar is a 5 minute up the street has the best authentic Caribbean food at a bargain. You can walk to the beach but is a long .7 miles (big hill) so a short taxi might be best if not in shape. My family loved this place, even at the tail end of a week sailing in the bvis. Checkin was easy and the staff are friendly and helpful.

This was my first time at St Thomas and Flamboyan did not disappoint!! I had so much fun and the place was fantastic! Super clean, staff was friendly, and they also run a cat sanctuary there! Cats are super sweet and overall the experience was phenomenal

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Resort view is actually Megan's Bay view. Very roomy, has everything you need. Staff is very friendly and helpful. On the top of this it is a Cat Sanctuary, paradise for cats and cat lovers. I am a cat lady, so I was happy. Those ones who don't like cats maybe should avoid a place. There are plenty of them/ They are taken care, fixed, fed and very friendly. Half mile from the beach, a little be rough to go back up hills but I used it as exercise. One can take a cab, it is $8 one way though. Beach entrance is$7, free if you come before 7am or after 5pm.

Awesome location and value. Everyone one was very helpful and friendly. It’s an older place that is going through some updates, but the location and price were amazing. Highly recommend.
