- Visa type: B1 (30 days, extendable for another 30 days).


Permissible Activities

- Conducting activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.

- Participate in meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions as an attendee.

- Traveling within Indonesia on a yacht (yachter).


Visa Availability

- The visa add-on can be purchased with either a flight or hotel booking.

- Visa application limits are determined as follows:

- Flight booking: Maximum of visas equivalent to the number of flight passengers.

- Hotel booking: Maximum of visas equivalent to the number of guests per room.

- Separate purchases: You purchasing both flight and hotel separately can apply for up to the combined maximum from each booking.


Eligibility

-Only you holding an Australian passport valid for more than six months at the time of arrival in Indonesia are eligible for this add-on.

- Non-Australian passport holders are not eligible. Visa fees will be refunded if an ineligible passport is submitted.

Application Process

- Please be aware that you must submit the documents via email to continue the visa application process.

- Send a new email to support.xp@traveloka.com with the required documents within 3 working days before departure. The number of submitted documents must match the booking details.

- Traveloka will process your visa application.

- If approved, you’ll receive your visa via email from the Indonesian government. Be sure to check your inbox.

- By submitting documents, you consent to the processing of personal data, including sensitive information, for visa application purposes.

- Personal data will be shared with Indonesian authorities in compliance with Traveloka’s Privacy Notice.

Application Requirements

- A scanned copy of the Australian passport.

- A recent photograph.

- Flight e-ticket (if purchasing a Hotel in the current transaction on Traveloka).

- Hotel booking details (if purchasing a Flight in the current transaction on Traveloka).

- Traveloka Booking ID. 

- Required documents must be sent via email within 3 working days prior to departure.

- Failure to submit documents on time or submission of incomplete/invalid documents will void the add-on without refund.

Passport Terms and Conditions:

- The photo should be sharp, in focus, and not ghosted.

- Should not be covered, cropped, folded, or blurry.

- Must be in landscape form.

- The layout and position of the photo must be proper (too close or too far is not recommended).

Photo Terms and Conditions:

- File format: *.JPEG/ .JPG/ .PNG in colour.

- Minimum resolution: 400x600px.

- Maximum file size: 2 MB.

- Composition:

- The face should take up about half of the photo's height.

- The eyes should be centred vertically in the photo.

- The layout and position of the photo must be proper (too close or too far is not recommended).

- Unacceptable Photos:

- Blurry photos.

- Photos of anything other than the face.

- Photos with facial expressions.

Rejections and Refunds

-Traveloka is not responsible for visa rejections by Indonesian immigration.

- Visa fees are non-refundable, including in cases of:

- Rejection by immigration.

- Ineligibility or failure to meet requirements.

- Passports valid for less than six months.

- Other government requirements.

Visitor Conduct

- Comply with laws and regulations.

- Respect local customs, culture, and wisdom.

- Have sufficient living expenses while in Indonesia.

Restrictions

- Selling goods or services, earning wages, or receiving rewards in Indonesia.

- Overstaying or participating in prohibited activities, which may result in fines, deportation, or legal action.

Visitor Consent

- By submitting documents, you consent to the processing of -personal data, including sensitive information, for visa application purposes.

- Personal data will be shared with Indonesian authorities in compliance with Traveloka’s Privacy Notice.

- Traveloka facilitates the visa application process but is not responsible for decisions made by Indonesian immigration authorities.

- Traveloka reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at its discretion. You will be notified of significant changes.

- Please be aware that Traveloka cannot assist with extending your visa. Extensions must be arranged directly with Indonesian immigration authorities.

Additional Guidance

- You will receive your visa from the Indonesian government via email.

- It is your responsibility to check your email for communications from the immigration department after the submission period.

How does Traveloka’s Visa on Arrival service for Indonesia work?
Costing you no more than what you’d need to pay at the airport, simply add the $50 (IDR500,000) “Indonesian Visa for Australians” when you book a flight or hotel.

You’ll then be contacted by our team for your documents: - A copy of your passport’s information page
- A picture of you
- A copy of your flight or hotel booking (including the Traveloka booking reference)
- The address of where you’ll be staying in Indonesia (or your first address if you’re going to multiple destinations)
- Proof of onward travel (if your flight booking is not a return ticket to Australia)

Within three days (but often much quicker) you’ll be sent a confirmation email letting you know your B1 visa is ready.

What type of visa do I need for Indonesia?
Australian passport holders travelling to Indonesia on holiday will need a B1 visa. They’re valid for 30 days and can be extended for a further 30 days, letting you stay and explore Indonesia for up to a total of 60 days.

Although there have been talks of these visas being scrapped, they are still required for all Australians
