The staff are very friendly and helpful, the animals are varied and very well cared for.

The zoo has improved. We bought a capybara bundling ticket and the kids were happy.

Definitely a recommended visit for family. Food and drinks price is definitely overpriced, but it's a common thing for a place like this.

During the 2026 school holidays, I took my child to Bali Zoo. We purchased tickets through the Xperience app, and it was very easy. Redeeming tickets was also quick and easy. The rides are spacious, and the distances between animals are not too far. It's a short walk or a safari van to reach the Sumatra area and other wild animals. It was quite fun and entertaining.

It's great to bring a 1 year old baby

The staff is helpful, you get the access easy. Inside the Bali Zoo, you will experience the best view of zoo animals. You also can hold and take pictures with the animals, it’s so much fun for your family here.

It's perfect for bringing kids. It's also internationally recognized. Unfortunately, we arrived late in the afternoon, so almost all the attractions were already closed.

Bali Zoo is quite attractive in presenting the natural world of animals to its visitors. The atmosphere is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. There's a deer area where they can be released into the wild for feeding, and it's very engaging for visitors to interact with. It was a truly enjoyable experience, especially with two toddlers and one teenager.

Suitable for bringing family, friendly service, staff do not differentiate between foreign / local tourists.

It was really exciting when I went there, the price on the app was also cheaper. Plus, the issue was fast too.

Bali Zoo is pleasantly manageable in scale — large enough to fill a full day (minimal half day), yet compact enough to not leave you exhausted. The zoo is split across two sections connected by a shuttle, making getting around easy and comfortable. The entrance tickets can be bought online from different platforms, but you can also walk-in. For those who can't get enough, the connected resort offers an immersive stay where the animals are practically your neighbours — a wonderful option for families wanting to extend the experience beyond a single day visit. A real highlight is the opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals — whether feeding them, attending an informative animal talk led by knowledgeable experts, or simply observing under supervision. Educational and genuinely engaging for all ages. The crown jewel of the visit is the Aviary. A magical space home to playful lemurs, where you can get close and personal to a resplendent bird of paradise, elegant crowned doves, and striking mandarin ducks. Unhurried, beautiful, and the kind of moment you find yourself lingering in far longer than planned. My only complaint is that, despite the signs, there were visitors who cannot fight the urge to smoke. Maybe it would be good to build smoking corners for these guests, rather than them smoking in the open, which can cause discomfort for other visitors.
