The staff was informative and helpful, the place was clean, but unfortunately it was quiet (maybe I came on a weekday).

A tourist spot that's not recommended at all. It's like a place to test your courage, completely neglected, and you'll regret paying that kind of entrance fee.

The De Tjolomadoe Museum is a beautiful location and easily accessible from the city center. It's perfect for those seeking a deeper understanding of the history of sugar factories, with a modern museum concept. The installations are neatly arranged, informative, and engaging, allowing visitors to enjoy the atmosphere and learn while at the same time. The facilities are also quite adequate, making the visit a comfortable and memorable experience.

Interesting place at Solo. The place used to be a sugar plantation during the colonial years until the 90s.

When talking about museums, one visit is often enough, simple but impressive as a history of past sugar factories.

An interesting museum, worth the visit, even though it's a bit out of town. Hiring a guide is recommended for more information about this former Solo sugar factory.

Wow! De Tjolomadoe Museum is very impressive. There are many interactive museums, cool photo spots. There is one of the Tandor Teboe rides, it uses AI. Must try! Then you can take pictures with antique cars, there is a cafe too

During my last vacation I chose to go to the museum rather than to other locations that would not be so crowded, and it was true when I arrived there my child was very happy to enter the location because he saw many machines that were so big and had never found a machine that big, he was very excited when he entered the room, there was a miniature processing process and there were also interesting locations, it's just a shame that it didn't go anywhere because some locations were made for religious studies so it was only limited to a small area.

it was empty so it wasn't hot and I could enjoy my visit there. but I thought, they can be more attractive instead of just showing the old machines.

the place is okay for a museum date.. quite informative with history boards in every place.. the downside is the museum is too small so there is very little discussion, many places are not described completely like in 'Tungku'.. the restaurant is okay for drinks (because I didn't eat)

If you’re into history, specifically the Indonesian sugar industry, visiting Museum Tjoloemadoe is a must. The place is huge. It took me approximately an hour to stroll around. However, I wasn't satisfied with the information about colonial slavery, which was the key to the sugar industry back then. I think the museum needs to add some of its collection.
