This place is a masterclass in disappointment. It looks like it was designed by someone who has only heard rumors of children but has never actually met one. We came on a weekday, the individual stalls were either full, closed/ unavailable , or with an extremely long queue .
Cleanliness is clearly optional—mysterious sticky patches, and smells that strongly suggest this is not just a “kids being kids” issue.
If your goal is to drain all joy from a sunny afternoon and leave with grumpy disappointed kids and an even grumpier adult, congratulations—you’ve found the perfect spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and keep walking.
Tickets offered were either half day or whole day. Spent less than 30 mins in this stinking crowded place.
Oh, and if you are a tourist or someone who doesn’t know their local indonesian dialect, good luck, the english language is clearly unintelligible in this place.
