Morning was a bit rush, but it was alright. Everyone boarded the ferry on time. On the island, a brief history of each island was given, but due to bad weather, the island tour mainly involves carrying umbrella and avoiding puddles. Lunch, remember to pack your own! No shops/food stores are available on the island.
Do bring some cash to purchase joss stick set on Kusu island. Ferry to mainland from Kusu Island was very long. The wait for the ferry was about an hour.
Dinner at the Jumbo Seafood, Clarke Quay was amazing! The menu for dinner contains:
1. Shark's fin soup (Taste: Blend)
2. Crab meat with chilli sauce with buns (Taste: Crab meat was delicious, and the bun is very crispy)
3. Cereal prawns (Taste: Prawns taste fresh and sweet, and the cereal is well cooked.)
4. Nonya fish slice (Taste: Not fishy and sweet)
5. Fried rice with silverfish (not the insect, silverfish) (Taste: Amazing! I usually don't eat fried rice. For this, I finished two bowls of the fried rice)
6. Mango saga ( I don't know what it is called, but definitely a mango flavoured dessert). (Taste: The little tadpole-like dessert sticks out like a sore thumb. It's Taste doesn't blend well with the dessert, but overall, the dessert is sweet and refreshing.
A short five course meal with dessert (not very filling but it is definitely nice) and your trip with them ends.
