We had a good experience buying fast boat tickets from Sanur-Nusa Penida-Sanur. The process was easy. We were issued "tickets" when we made our purchase online, however, we still had to pick up our physical tickets at a Maruti office (we were assigned a Maruti boat by app), a walking distance location by Sanur port, on the day of departure. So be sure to allow enough time to do so. Our group from Maruti had to be put together in Arjuna boat (a different boat transport company) from Sanur to Nusa Penida. They communicated it well in advance, so there was no confusion whatsoever. We came back to Sanur on a Maruti boat, which was much nicer and newer, so it was a plus. There were plenty of life jackets onboard of both boats, which to us was very important. The staff were helpful and polite as well. I would recommend buying your tickets using these services!
