I bought a JR East pass, which was very convenient. I traveled from Aomori to Tokyo, and it was more than worth it. Besides trains, it also includes buses, making it easy to travel outside the city.

Great pass to explore Tohoku Area and include Tokyo as well. Redeem the pass in Aomori Station, seamless redemption and helpful staff print out all the booking in advance ticket. Tohoku is great options for new exploration.

Overall quite happy. Still wondering why my friends couldnt get a physical tickets in the same ticket booths and i have to wait 1 hour for JR office to open so our group could reach tokyo together

It's really easy to order a JR EAST Japan Pass. After payment, the voucher code will be sent immediately. Once you arrive at Narita or Haneda International Airport, just go to JR East Travel to exchange your pass for the original one. This pass is valid at all JR East stations, so don't lose it. To book reserved Shinkansen tickets, just go to JR EAST Travel at the station location in Japan. For those traveling long distances, this is really worth it, especially those from Narita Airport, who can directly use the NEX Narita Express with this pass. Similarly, if you exchange for a JR EAST pass and buy a SUICA IC CARD at the same location, the SUICA card is free, just top it up directly at JR EAST Travel. This SUICA IC CARD can be used on all Tokyo Subway lines, so you don't have to bother buying tickets and can also be used for payments at shops or vending machines.

Awesome purchase ever! It was so convenient to take the bullet trains in the Tohoku region and explore areas not overrun by foreign tourists. I went from Tokyo to Sendai, Morioka, Aomori, Nikko and back to Tokyo. In addition, if you purchase this pass, go to the tourist information centre in Sendai, u get a one-day free transportation in Sendai.

A great way to travel around Tohoku region, which is quite underrated in my opinion. Maximize for unlimited rides on trains for all 5 days and it's very worthwhile and great value for money.

Good value and you can also use it on buses, you can save a lot of money with this. Exchange process was simple and the staff at their office was very helpful and spoke good English, so it was very smooth. From Tokyo, I was able to go to Aomori, Sendai, and Nikko.

everything was good. right on time. train was good. no one can beat JR pass! buy JR pass per region, no need to buy all Region if you just want to visit 1-2 Region/perfectur.

JR pass tohoku is easy to use and convenient. However, the teamlab planet tokyo ticket that was announced to return was not available. I had to contact the staff myself and wait for the staff to check. This made the day I wanted to go full. I had checked at first that there was a vacancy, so I had to buy the teamlab ticket from another place.

It is better to have digital ticket for JR. If lost JR ticket, digital ticket still can be used.

Well worth the money

Decided to go out of Tokyo to see the sakura season and we found out that the Tohoku has some really great spots for viewing the sakura flowers bloom. This JR pass makes it so convenient to do and you can use it for 5 days!
