Great location,nice hotel, rooms a little outdated but overall pleasant stay

We loved our stay at the Fairmont . The staff were really nice and very helpful, especially the valets who brought our car so quickly and always had it ready when we needed it. The grounds are beautiful and its like a little oasis in the middle of the City - really felt like a getaway even though you are right in town and just across the street from the beach.

Fig too high priced. Tub too small. Glorious otherwise.

I liked that the property felt secluded in the middle of a busy city and I loved the design/decor choices. The staff were so nice and accommodating and my stay was so pleasant. I live 2 miles away, but this is my new go-to hotel when I want a “staycation”. Love it!

Great views of the beach and friendly, very helpful Staff. Really cared for an elderly friend staying there. However, air conditioning went down for awhile. It was fixed but an inconvenience. Taxes are high.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again facilities are average, most the staff were okay the rest well below average. The guy that checked me in barely said a word to me and gave me zero info.

This property is in the absolute best location in Santa Monica. Definitely needs to be updated for the price. The restrooms especially need to be updated! Very small and no fan,

Horrible experience. Been a gold member for ever and had the worst treatment. Late check in. Someone said they would call us when room was ready never did. Was told would have late checkout for inconvenience and never got that either. Sat by pool for 3 hours did not get addressed or served once

Hotel was beautiful! Nice luxurious property. Enjoyed breakfast at The Fig. Great Gym space and pool area.

The Fairmount is an excellent hotel at a premier location on the Southern California Coast. We have stayed here before and both times have been most enjoyable. The rooms and the hotel itself, including the luscious grounds, are wonderful. The Fairmount is what staying at a class hotel is supposed to be about.

Please be aware they host private events and have a DJ playing until 2 am. Don’t book the balcony beach view, you won’t get any sleep, it’s right above the bar.

Restaurants were sooooo expensive

the valet lost track of our keys and our car for five hours during which we missed a family party that was a part of our trip. The elevator was broken one day and we had to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to the room.

Greetings, I hope this finds you well. This is a note to notify you regarding a charge mistake. I was checked out early, May 30, from the hotel. I only stayed 2 nights, not 3 as originally planned. I left the premises May 30, NOT May 31. I was confirmed by the hotel upon arrival, AND upon the last day, May 30, as I was leaving and confirming the change, that, it would be ok to change the length of stay, and there would be NO penalty. I was merely requested by Fairmont, on the premises ( as it was all OK on their end) to also confirm with EXPEDIA. Which I did and all was fine. Expedia was also the same, very smooth process, quick changes, all confirmed One Night’s stay and pertaining fees accordingly, less on the final bill. Reflecting the shorter stay. An absolutely amazing representative from EXPEDIA, I believe was XAVERIA, even called me after our chat, in person, to confirm. to my surprise, arriving home, having just reviewed my CREDIT CARD bill, I was disappointed to find I was charged FULL, for the unused stay. AND I was charged $200+ more than original FULL stay would have been. Nearly 1,600 USD Original full stay would have been even less, 1,431.76 USD This is unacceptable. Please make the necessary adjustment, and refund the last day's stay and relevant fees and all charges immediately. I am disappointed. I would prefer not to leave this in review, because this is not FAIRMONT level of experience. In addition, I would like also to add that my
