This was the worst hotel stay! We’ve stayed here before and it wasn’t as bad but this was horrible. This hotel is so run down, the staff don’t clean at all, we stayed here 6 nights and the floor, bed sheets and tub were not CLEAN at all , it was like they made the bed with the same sheets and replaced towels and that was it! Will never stay here again! The staff were not that great or helpful either other than Hannah I think at front desk - she was the tall Caucasian lady- she was superb! Everyone else just gave poor service.

We had a wonderful stay at the Westin Beach Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The view from our room was stunning, with beautiful ocean views that made our mornings special. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The Lona Restaurant offered a fantastic breakfast with great outdoor views of the ocean, which was a definite highlight. The pool area was well-maintained, and the service at the poolside restaurant was excellent. A big plus was the convenient overhead walking tunnel that connects directly to the beach, making access to the sand incredibly easy. The location is also ideal, with restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Plus, having a Starbucks on-site was a nice bonus. However, there were a few drawbacks. The overnight parking fees were steep at $62.06 with tax, and beach chair rentals were an additional cost. While you do get 2 free beach chairs per room, any extra chairs or umbrellas come with a charge. The main issue was that the elevator in the South Building was broken for the entire weekend, causing long wait times for the single functioning elevator. With the hotel being quite full over Memorial Weekend, it meant waiting for long periods and sometimes having to take the stairs. Overall, despite these inconveniences, I would still recommend the hotel for its great service, location, and amenities. I would rate it 4 stars but gave 3 stars for elevator issues.

Great location, good facilities, clean, friendly helpful staff. Were impressed with food availability, convenience and cost. Room was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Only concern was pool seating access and use of beach chairs by non guests.

Cannot believe how bad this hotel has gotten. It needs a major renovation. The a/c doesn’t work well in the rooms. The water in the shower/tub is yellowish. Bathroom doors broken they barely close. Lady who works in the gift shop is watching movies on her phone as loud as can be and doesn’t even care-never saw that anywhere. Pool is overcrowded because it is too small for the amount of seating they provide. One working elevator that sounds like it’s going to crash. Crazy

Not a good an experience for me. I had to wait more than an hour to get a room after my check in time, as soon as I got in the room, toilet was clogged, bathtub not draining, they sent someone to fix it, he said it was fixed, but wasn’t. Switch to another room, bathtub was not draining properly on that one either. I’ve had better experiences before. This was not pleasant at all.

Would not stay at this hotel again. The rooms were small with no balcony's. Over priced, charge 58 dollars a day for vallet parking. Needs updating.

It’s a Westin so you know it’s going to be nice. We spent four nights. If you want to be right on Ft Lauderdale beach it’s a good choice. They have a walkway from the pool over the street to the beach which is nice. The one thing I did not like is the bathroom had a louvred sliding barn style door and a window into the room with louvered shutters - so there is absolutely no privacy in the toilet.

The staff was very helpful and cheerful. The on site food options are excellent, as are all the restaurants we visited in just a very easy walk from the Westin.

This property was below average for the price of $500/night. Small basic room for the kingsized bed. Finishings are basic. The location an lobby are nice, but the room I stayed in was not luxury.
