The rooms are a bit dated, but Ana and Gabrijel and the rest of the team make this hotel stand out. The air conditioning is good, not exceptional, but it keeps the room moderately cool during this heat wave. Breakfast is terrific and the gym is pretty big. There is a tram stop next door, and it's 10 minutes max to the city center.

We had a great stay! Came for the chess tournament happening in the hotel but had a great time in the hotel. Room was super spacious and comfortable, shower amazing and the use of the gym and pool was a bonus. Location was great as well.

It was the best hotel ever!! To start with they offered us as welcome drink juice or champagne and that made to us a good impression for the hotel. In addition the rooms were absolutely amazing! So clean and beautiful decorated. I'm looking forward to visiting it again!

The front desk was most cheerful, helpful & courteous. Staff Miss Gabrijela deserved special mention. She patiently help us make numerous restaurant's reservations one after another. Our multi charger was not working, she found one for us she is just amazing. Many thanks Gabrijela.

Here's the English review: --- Yes, you can tell this is an older hotel. The wallpaper is peeling in places, and the room layout feels like the 1980s. There are no balconies, and the air conditioning is noisy. That said, the staff make up for it. They are well trained, attentive, kind, and always available. Breakfast is very international and well assorted. With minimal effort this could become a truly great hotel. You can clearly see it had better years, but you can also see it could return to its former glory. It is now up to the ownership to invest and bring it back to its full potential. Very near to the railway station, 30 minutes from the airport and in less than than 15 you can walk downtown.
