Central location though toilet made some noises in the night. Quiet a lot of noise ooutaide as had window open in the heat as no air conditioning

Only downside is that when Cruise ships come in to and leave harbor they signaling sound is very loud and uncomfortable. Other than that - perfect place to stay in Molde, Norway.

We had a great stay in the Scandic. Lovely hotel with lovely staff. There is real sense of history in this hotel, they have retained the old dining room layouts and decor even though there was a bad fire in the 40s. Excellent breakfast, quiet comfortable room.

Excellent stay, room and amenities were as listed and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was an excellent spread and seating was in a beautiful dining space. Molde jazz festival was in full swing and VERY loud but was outside the property. If not for the event, the stay would have been peaceful. This is not a detractor for the hotel, but be mindful to check local events when booking.
