The hotel has beautiful location right on the water. Unfortunately it’s under construction and the workers start working at 7:30 and it’s loud. The breakfast is top notch, serving a wide variety of choices. The food is high quality and delicious. The room was spacious and looked to be recently renovated.

Nice hotel, not a lot to do in the town.

Great location with an exceptional view of the harbour. Included breakfast was exceptional - best we’ve experienced anywhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. While Arendahl is a little away from the more common Norwegian tourist spots, I wouldn’t hesitate to return just because of our positive experience there.

Very enjoyable stay in Arendal. View from our room could not be matched most anywhere. Breakfasts were exceptional. While Arendal is a little off the beaten path a stay is worth the effort.

Everything was perfect , truly a beautiful old hotel. Staff couldn’t have been better.

The room didn't get dark at all, also the window did not properly close so there was also a lot of sound. Breakfast was ok. Good coffee

Senga hadde madrass med nedslitt midtparti slik at det ble for mye "hengekøye". Kaldt på badet. Mye utplassert håndsprit men den luktet zalo og parfyme og inneholdt nok ikke tilstrekkelig med sprit til at det var helt greit ved frokostens buffè.

Nice hotel, quiet clean simple with nice breakfast. Parking is a rip-off, as is beer but that’s just a Norway thing.

בהתחלה נתנו לנו חדר מיושן עם נזק על הקיר שהוסתר בוילון.... אך מיד החליפו לחדר טוב יותר באגף אחר. המיקום מעולה עם נוף למפרץ. ארוחת בוקר מעולה והחדר מרווח ונעים
