Yes the hotel is under construction. Safety issues aside, hallways open & under construction, wires hanging, doors and windows missing, nothing to stop someone from wandering down unsafe hallways. The water from the sink & shower smells like the sewer. The room door doesn't lock. Outside doors also don't close all the way or lock. The pool NEEDS to be closed, either temporarily or permanently. The concrete around the pool is green & black with algae or mold. The water in the pool is dirty. The pool walls inside the pool are green & black. The decking & walkway outside to the pool are uneven, broken boards and completely unsafe. The lobby is remodeled and looks nice, so I hope that the rest of hotel will or can someday be nice. But there is SO much that needs to be fixed & repaired, I just don't know. For the condition of the building & the smelly water, you shouldn't have to pay more than $40 a night. Unfortunately the rooms were still regular price at $160 a night. SOOO NOT worth the money!!

The property is completely run down and unhealthy for guests. Many rooms are filled with either boarded up windows or boxes. Parts of the building were closed down and it smelled moldy throughout. Only stairwell available in disrepair.Warning for anyone to find somewhere else.

The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable but they are remodeling and the smells from the room with approximately 50 fiberglass tubs caused all of us to have migraines and my heart rate to climb to over 200. The pool room is unsafe and out behind the building with the pool is where they have been throwing everything they rip out of the rooms. They also gave me a hard time with my childrens service dogs. I have photos i can send.

Shower took 15 mins to get hot and hot water only lasted 10 mins

The was fast food trash under the table. The ceiling was falling down, the bathroom was dirty. We had to pull out the bed to access a plug for the c pap machine and the carpet was so dirty with drywall dust and more. As we were coming in from a long day I asked the front desk if our room was cleaned and he said yes. We walked all the way to our room and it was not, walked all the way back to the front desk and requested new towels and the guy didn’t know what to do. He made a call in his cellphone and I was trying to just exchange towels. He eventually brought them to the room and said he would call his manager and see if he could offer another room. We gathered our things and walked to the front desk where I stood in line for a long time. By this point I was so exhausted and just wanted a clean shower so we decided to drive all the way home. I requested a check out firm and the front desk worker could not figure out how to give me that information. Hopefully the remodel will do good for this place but due to the dirty room and bathroom and the uncomfortable bed, we will not be back. Highly disappointed because we stayed here same weekend last year and it wasn’t this bad.

Pool water cold. But good stay

Check in went smooth and breakfast was good. Facility not so good. Handrail on stairs was sticky and dirty, stairwell smelled bad, room wasn't cleaned very well, and ceiling of room (second floor) had several very poorly patched areas where the ceiling plaster had fallen off. There was no elevator, a challenge for someone using a cane.

Nothing gross and stunk, alarm on door went off continuously when we left room. Dirty and very stinky yellow water dirt came out of tub faucet when turned it on breakfast was gross. Nasty and dirty place run down very old.

The picture on Expedia is completely false. The parking lot was all broken up, broken down car in front. Front widows all filled with cardboard boxes exposed. Room mildewy. Could not stay and would not refund

It was a great stay, even though we checked in after a storm and there was no tv stations for an hour. But, thats nature for you. We did not use the pool, so I can't comment on that. I would truly reccomend this hotel. Thanks

Overall. Fine

We arrived at 11pm Paid price for one of the newly remodeled rooms but instead was put on the 2nd level . no elevator and the room was from the 80's lots of damage mold and crud on the entire bathroom area . At 10:30 am workers were knocking at door for us to leave. When i get home a week later I find out my Credit card was double charged.

Smelling like a moldy in room

For one night stay on the way to Cedar Point, it was okay but wow it was falling apart and old hotel. You can see in the photos it was dungy and had mold or damage everywhere! The shower heads weren’t clean, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling down, there was water damage in the bathroom ceiling and we were worried it would fall during our stay. There was water damage and mold in the walls by the front door as well. Th”free breakfast” wasn’t much to speak of. Scrambled eggs, biscuit and gravy. Some toast or yogurt and one waffle maker.

This hotel needs some updates but for $100 a night you’re getting what you pay for. It was 4 stars based on the price. It was clean and comfy. Staff was nice.

What a dump. Our family de ided against showering here or brushing our teeth here. Worst hotel ive ever set foot in.

This place is a dump. The pictures do not match (what you see online is not what you get). At close to $140 per night it was a rip off. Shower and sink do not drain. Mold on ceiling in bathroom (vent was broken). The AC did cool the room. No elevator. Hotel was under construction but no one working. I would not recommend.

Room smelled moldy and musty. All aspects of the room needed maintenance. Shower faucets were falling off and difficult to turn. Shower head sprayed the ceiling and could not be adjusted. No working fan in the bathroom. Outside doors did not lock or close properly. Overall the place needed a lot of TLC.

Very old. Stayed 2 yrs ago and they were remodeling- only lobby done. Phone didn’t work, bathroom awful, pool closed. Security door had no lock, weeds and growth around the hotel overgrown- not what I expect for a Wyndham propery

Stayed here a few times and it’s always very relaxing
