Location was great. Building looked beautiful on the outside but the renovation was a huge inconvenience. Wish I had known about it upfront. The staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. I would definitely visit this hotel again once the construction has finished.

Very nice room and friendly staff. The breakfast was very good. Only glitch was we found a huge water bug in the room. They sprayed and the hotel at our request moved us to another room. The hotel is literally next to the Vicksburg battlefield, so was very convenient for touring that historic site.

Proximity to the National Military Park was great - the hotel had some renovation pains. When we arrived, the water had been turned off because of a construction leak which meant no working bathrooms. Water came back on 1-1/2 hours later. At breakfast, my husband saw a big piece of plaster fall from the ceiling in the main hallway. I heard it hit the floor - it make quite the noise. So glad that no one was walking under it.

Right off of I-20. Although they are renovating, don’t let that and or your judgment. We stayed on the fourth floor. Very clean every staff member we came in contact with was very courteous and helpful. Across the street from National Vicksburg Military Park. Definitely set time aside to visit, it is a must do while you’re there!

The front desk lady was extremely efficient, kind and respectful. The lobby was beautiful. We love to stay at Hampton Inns but this one was tired and tattered. They are in the process of renovating it so that is a really good thing. Hopefully they will have new beds.

Sadly, worst Hampton stay ever. I have never seen so much obvious mold in a hotel bathroom. And sadly, the area has gone downhill.

We were on the street side which was noisy. Breakfast was tasty and there was a good variety. Disappointed as the shower was backing up. This was shared with the desk on departure. Very nice restaurants by the river.

The staff was very responsiveness when we had an issue with our room (one king bed v. two queens) at check-in. That said, there were live roaches in our room and at the pool. The carpet in our room was badly stained, and there was mold in the shower. I was largely disappointed in this experience. I've stayed at many of these properties over the years, and this was, far and away, the most unfortunate Hampton Inn I've seen.

I’ve stayed here often, but not that recently. It not an unclean place per say, it’s just dated, old looking!

The hotel is under construction. Elevators are a mess, noisy/poorly insulated. I've stayed before and it was lovely. This time, seemed like there was less pride in maintaining since it's undergoing renovation

Lobby and building are pretty but is undergoing much needed renovation. Our room had a broken shower door, dirty sticky carpet and a musty smell. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient but facilities are old and definitely need the ongoing renovation
