Only negative is the couch was old, carpet was throughout, on the 3rd floor washer and dryer were older. Upgrade would be great. We think maybe bc dogs are allpwed the couch was not in the best shape. Everthing else was great. Bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Parking is tight if you have a high vehicle but std suv is fine.

Should include parking within the hotel charges and should include breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently located not far from the canal and parliament areas. Lots of dining options close by. Front desk staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Room was nice and the small kitchen was well equipped.

The amenities are complete with a clean room, parking is okay, and they respond quickly to our requests. Friendly staff.

Room is clean, but the bed is very uncomfortable. The room is large but the furniture is outdated. The hotel is in a great location but the hallways and open areas are small.

My friend and I stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Nice to have kitchen facilities in the mornings for a light breakfast. Will come again.

Good location. Very friendly staffs. The slanted/inclined way in/out to parking garage to B2 is the big problem. My car got scratched bottom everytime when i going in and out from B2. I also found that the coffee machine had leftover coffee still inside the machine. The shower gel was near empty when i first checked in

Very pleasant front desk experience. Great location. Super value. Good food nearby. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay downtown without downtown prices. You even get a real key! Thanks.

Clean room. Staff were very friendly. Hot tub and pool were clean. Pool towels are a bit on the small side. Room pillows are small and way too soft.

The staff were lovely, but the room was likely the worst hotel room I've ever seen. I at first thought the old-fashioned actual room key was quaint, but I was really shocked when I first went into the room. Dated, dingy and dirty, the room seemed more like a low end motel that you'd find on the side of a highway. The carpet was filthy, I've left and moved to another hotel. If I planned to come back to Ottawa and this was my only hotel option, I wouldn't come to Ottawa. I did like the location and the sauna was good, but overall I'd never, ever stay here again

When we are in Ottawa we regularly stay at Cartier Place and are never disappointed. Incredibly central location and very friendly staff.

Checked me into a different room than what I booked, then overcharged me for it. After Expedia stepped in, they issued a refund but on the wrong credit card. No response when I ask for an accurate receipt and charge as this is a business trip. Last time I stay there, very unfortunate. This used to be a go-to.

Not fancy, but clean, comfortable, convenient, and terrific helpful staff. We’ll be back.
