This hotel is a little gem close to the OC Fair. I liked its location in a neighborhood rather than in a business district. Also it’s very close to the freeway which was convenient. The rooms were clean and remodeled. I didn’t use the pool but it looked very nice. The receptionist in the lobby was friendly as well. Overall a great stay and recommended!

Stayed here many times in the last few years. It is always clean and comfortable.

The room amenities were nice including a waterfall shower, light up mirror, and good toiletries. However, the walls are paper thin. I could hear every mumble, cough, sneeze, and footstep. Got next to no sleep the 2 nights I stayed, and it sabotaged my vacation. I would not recommend this place to anyone that's a light sleeper. Mattress also sucked.

Good stay overall. Basic necessities were met and it was relatively close to all that the OC has to offer. The only issue was my room smelled awful. Either mold or mildew from the AC, it was a urine-like smell but it was not urine…I do not think…because it did not come from the bathroom which was very clean also the towels were fresh. The bathroom did not smell so I am curious where the awful smell was coming from. Other than that, good stay.

It is more like a motel and is pretty much a dump. The price for it is ridiculous based on the room and what it offers.

Other than no cable tv it was excellent.

This a a small renovated hotel with free parking , continental breakfast, coffee machine. Rooms were updated and very clean , loved the smart mirror, and the bath amenities. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful we stayed 2 nights and will choose this hotel again when in the area! Lots of small touches to enhance your stay.

This was a good stay and room was clean and smelled clean had all the amenities needed. Staff was also very friendly! I would stay again.

The rooms were clean. The walls are paper thin, so you hear everything in the other rooms and outside. Unfortunately, we were put into a room with raging parties going on next door and screaming outside until 3 am in the morning the first night and 4 am the next night. Despite the sign in the lobby stating quiet hours after 10. I asked to be moved but they had no options for that. The 3rd night one of the partyers actually knocked on our door at 2:30 AM too high to realize he was not at the right room. I called the front desk at that point, and they did come down and talk to them. A bit late for that though. I would not recommend staying there and will never book with that Hotel again.

Really nothing bad about the property or staff. Good place to stay with your family. The pool and hot tub were nice and the workout room was a healthy size and open 24 hrs which we loved. OH! And one GREAT touch from OC... There is a small refrigerator in the workout room and it has super cooled wet towels to use to cool down after a workout. These were awesome! And they were infused with eucalyptus mint. Nice touch OC! Breakfasts are well stocked, but it can get busy. And be sure you get there before the end time because they break the buffet down fast when the time for breakfast ends. If you miss it there is a Starbucks literally just on the other side of their parking lot. :-) Only thing I wish they would upgrade is the refrigerator in the room. It was the really small one and didn't have a freezer area. Not great for a family of 4 staying for 4-5 days.

I recently stayed at OC Hotel and had a great experience. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay relaxing. The staff were extremely supportive, welcoming, and always ready to help — their hospitality really made a difference. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. I especially enjoyed the coffee from the coffee machine — it was a great way to start the day. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at OC Hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. I’d be happy to come back again.

For reasons and bad decisions I have been staying in Hotels for longer than I thought. I have stayed in just about every Hotel/ Motel in Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach and Newport and by far OCHOTEL is the best place when it comes to Hotels. 1) The rooms and the House Keepers are the best. 2) The front office staff is the nicest and most respectable in the business. 3) The only Hotel that truly is all about hospitality, comfort and making sure tjhat anything we want or need is provided. 4) The owner is very cordial and cool too. Now I can't say what they do above and beyond all the other hotels because I don't want to cause them to be taken advantage of. But lets just say they have bent over backwards to help me in my difficult situation so many times

Clean and great staff

Clean and staff was very nice.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. They let us park there a few hours prior to check in so we could Uber to the beach.
