Pulled in to begin our stay while 6 police officers drug some sobbing lady out of there. The property was probably awesome, along time ago. They havent updated much! The room didnt have a fridge, micro or coffee maker and was not nice! The swimming pool/spa area was in shambles and the stuff floating in pool, gross! The hotel gave us stained pool towels after they were able to track some down. The Bay Valley Resort needs so serious updating, now!

The outside looks very nice- However the inside needs a major overhaul. Half the rooms were not available to use. The banquet hall hadn’t been cleaned in I don’t know when. It was dark and creepy walking to the bathrooms from the pool area. There were only 5 chairs to sit in for the pool. We stayed for dinner it took over 2 hours for them to make dinner and have it served to the group. Some things were even forgotten and had to be made in a hurry. The lighting was also very dark in the hall. They did have live music and that was good. The rooms are very outdated- no microwave, refrigerator or even the basic coffee pot. This is a Wyndham Property and I would expect better quality.

The handicap entrance to get in with your suitcases instead of hauling them up all the stairs, had no door so anyone could come in. Not safe! We only had 1 washcloth and hand towel. Sent a message no response. Called no one answered. No phone, refrigerator, microwave or coffee pot in room. Carpet was so dirty our feet were black. We were told there was breakfast for a fee. Found out breakfast is only served on Sunday. Food in lounge was delicious. Hopefully there new remodeling will help these issues.

The facility was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Undergoing a remodeling with limited rooms. Could really use a microwave and fridge in the rooms. Also needs to have more counter space in bathrooms for women to do their morning routine. Also could use a mirror in room besides the bathroom. The pillows were very poor. And the continental breakfast was very minimal.

We arrived to a dirty room.. tv didn’t work. They took almost 3 hours (by the time we got a new room it was midnight) because they had no other clean and ready rooms available. Pool floor was cracking and falling apart my son cut his foot on it in the indoor pool. We asked for pool towels but due to renovations they are not offering pool towels and you have to use towels from your room which I asked for and he said he would send some to my room as me and my kids sat at the front desk dripping wet. Staff was rude, the young girl at the front desk was the only one who was nice. We ended our trip early after our encounter with the man at the desk about the towels. We didn’t even stay our 2nd night we just ended the trip. I understand they are renovating but things were thrown all over the place and the only work we seen going on was them painting outside the pool area. We won’t be returning.

Older hotel, getting a future remodel. Been here before, would have give a 3 star but they had 2 towels per room so that was terrible for a family of 4. Bar and restaurant are a plus. Can’t wait to see the remodel.

Love everything about this place!!! Amazing indoor outdoor pool. Awesome jacuzzi. Beautiful golf course. Spectacular staff. The younger girl needs to speak louder and check the rooms keys 2xs. Other than that our stay was perfect

The property is falling apart. Many areas unsafe and huge liability for bay valley! We had one towel with three people. We ran out of toilet paper and went to get some and they told us they had none! We had Kleenex! It stunk in room … weeds growing up our sliding glass doors that do not open unless you jiggle it endlessly and doesn’t lock! We had to pay 25 dollars more to stay 45 minutes later then they were pounding our door down!!! Then treated very rude! Don’t stay here!

Place needs alot of work ,no microwave, no coffee ,no refrigerator had to ask for wash clothes .

Good space and clean for the price. Would stay again.

The parking lot needs more security lighting. The staff could help inform people using Expedia what to do when checking out early. The rooms are really old. It’s not near as nice as the pictures show. The lobby is great. The rooms not so much.

It was a nice surprise. We understand that major renovations are planned, so I don’t want to be too critical.

We had a lot of fun in the pool. The pool is in fair condition, but the indoor outdoor aspect of it was fantastic. My kids had a blast as far as the rooms we didn’t receive very good directions to the room and when we went to find the rooms all the hallways were dark with no lighting and we wandered armed for about 10 minutes before we found where our room was at. There’s not any amenities in the room no microwave no refrigerator. We knew about that beforehand, but it’s still would be nice to have that stuff as far as the room the room was average. It was generally clean and the bed were comfortable. The shower was good hot water, and good pressure

The resort has a nice aesthetic, but needs a little TLC. After speaking to the staff I realized that the property is currently in the earlier stages of renovation. I look forward to seeing it after it’s all done, because this place has so much potential. The staff is amazing. It’s not often that you meet such friendly, caring people. I will definitely return if I’m ever back in this area.

They charged me for two nights and we only stayed one. They didn’t know how long it would take to get my refund. The pool was great! They had zero towels and cleaning crew wasn’t coming until the morning. But for the one night it was an ok place to stay. Safe property.

Okay yes antique old style looking, but could be way more beautiful if the workers actually took the time and did their job. Find my arrival the room they had assigned to me, have not been cleaned, so they gave me another room. I went to that room and it had been occupied, so went back to desk to get another room, but they act like it was normal…. So anyways I got my room and the cleanness of the hotel and rooms just didn’t fit right with me. Hint- I wonder if they knew what a vacuum was. I checked for bedbugs and decided to stay because I just needed a place to lay my head for the night and I was up early and gone the next day

Very large property with tons of potentials needs a lot of updating and tax- staff at check in was great - we used the hot tub and pool area was clean - while there were no pool towels available in the room the front desk offered us two extra towels to use - the area is really nice - close to town but far enough away enough to feel you have some peace and quiet . The breakfast was not complimentary so we ate after we left the property in the morning - checkout staff Phyllis is a wonderful addition to your staff she’s very sweet and spent time letting us know more about the property and new ownership it would be under - we can’t wait to come back and see the renovations

With the circumstances of not many employers, new owners, and in the process of renovations. This hotel was pretty good. Only complaint i would really have out side the circumstances would be, there was no refrigerator or microwave. With the new owners coming in and putting money in the place the hotel should be back up to better standards. Sonny the bartender was great to talk with.
