The open air environment of the guest spaces was really nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food delicious. We got a discount because we were staying in a section that was getting renovated. The room was large with a large balcony overlooking the lagoon pool.

This property is directly across the street from Marriott Courtyard & was a much better price. You obviously don't get all the perks of Marriott, but if you're looking for a decent place to stay for a beach trip, this is good. Clean rooms with fridge, small microwave & ice machine at end of hallway, friendly staff. Walkable distance to beach, shopping & restaurants. They also gave a military discount on parking, so I paid $25 per day. Otherwise I believe the rate is $45 or $50. Would definitely stay again.

My first time at that hotel wasn't very pleasant. The room had a bad smell, like dirty feet, and the pillows were terrible. I've been to other hotels around here and the pillows are comfortable. I imagine they need to change the carpets.

Great location with many stores nearby, easy to walk to. Nice stuff member and services. Room was clean and comfortable. Would like to come back in the future

To far from the beach

My Wife and I had an amazing stay with a wonderful view. We can't wait to come back. Staff were super friendly

The hotel itself was very good. The room was clean and the staff were very kind. Some gross stuff on the wall but I don’t expect the walls to be scrubbed before every person checks in. Balcony was cool, parking in a Jeep was scary because very narrow garage. Cool to have parking available all the time though, and the available laundry facilities were convenient. Only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach!

Location of the hotel is at the heart of Waikiki beach area. Had an amazing view of the baclcony especially in the morning. Close to all restaurants, shopping stores, coffee shops and bus stops. Easy check in and out. Highly recommend!

Seems like the hotel is being managed and maintained very well. Customer service was top notch! Checking in and out for multiple rooms (big family trip) went very smoothly.

Food are close by, and walkable to beach. It's very convenient!

This was a perfectly suitable place for a quick stay over in Honolulu. The resort fee is excessively high for what you get, but everything was sufficient for what we needed.

The staff in all areas were pleasant and professional. It was recently renovated so it was nice and clean. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear noise from the below alley, but overall all it was a great deal and a great stay.

Perfectly located in the center of Wakiki, surrounded by restaurants, shops and immediately accessible public transportation. If you stay here, there really isn't a need to rent a car. Parking is available at $40 an hour and the area is extremely busy in a vehicle

The location of this hotel is walking distance to a lot of shopping, dining & shows. The only shortcoming is the size of the pool and pool area. I realize that there was no space for it, but a nice relaxing pool area would have made this a 5-star, considering the age of the building

Love our stay the Waikiki Malia! The staff was super friendly. The rooms were really nice. We were there for friend’s wedding so we didn’t spend a ton of time in the room. But it’s in walking distance to all of shops and restaurants in Waikiki. Just be prepared because it’s not on the actual beach area they don’t have a huge pool. The parking garage is kind of difficult to get to since it’s on a one way side street. The parking garage itself is also very tight and low so be prepared if you have a larger vehicle. Overall I would highly recommend.
