Horrible room ended up having to get three different rooms was still absolutely terrible. You feel like your vehicle is going to be broken into in the parking lot. There was obviously drug activity in the parking lot. We ended up having to go buy bedding because the bedding on the bed was so disgusting. I also had to buy my own towels and washcloths because the ones there were nasty. The curtains also had holes in them.

There's a reason it's cheap! The staff were friendly enough. The pictures online are NOT accurate and appear to have been some years ago. We needed a place to sleep so bad we stayed but slept on top of the blankets, which were full of cigarette burns, as was the shower curtain. The tub shower didn't drain and the bathroom was incredibly small. There were questionable stains all around (walls, furniture fabric) and the room reeked of weed and mold, although we didn't actually SEE mold. Would not recommend. This place needs a lot of work before it's even basic decent.

I needed to stay one night and the whole area is least to say sketchy and unsafe. The rooms are moldy and stinky. My bedding were not clean and there were no blankets. I was waiting for the day light to get out of there!

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Knights Inn during my booking on 24th May 2025. Upon check-in, the room was messy, unhygienic, and had a strong foul odor. The bedsheets were used and the overall condition was unacceptable. I immediately took pictures and reported the issue to the receptionist, who acknowledged the problem and cancelled the booking on the spot, promising a refund. However, I was shocked to later receive a response from hotel management denying both the condition of the room and their promise of a refund. They even falsely accused me of inappropriate behavior, which is completely untrue. Their refusal to take accountability and their unprofessional attitude speak volumes. Photos were taken as proof and shared, yet they continue to deny responsibility. This kind of dishonesty and lack of customer care is unacceptable. I booked via Expedia under the impression that the property met basic hospitality standards—it did not. I strongly urge travelers to reconsider booking here. There are many better options out there that value cleanliness, integrity, and customer respect.

Very run down. People hanging out around stairwells. Very noisy . Trash containers in back a mess. Dog poop from other dogs all over lawn and not picked up. Homeless hanging out everywhere. People smoking in front of room even though rooms are non smoking.

I checked in. The staff is courteous and straight-forward to visitors. I have been there many times and always got friendly, dutiful service. The good service that was shown never waivered. I most definitely will continue to stay at the Knights Inn Motel and highly recommend the facility to all my friends & family for their stay in San Antonio.

This is a gross hotel. I don’t care how little you pay you should still feel safe and be in a clean room. I have asthma and asked for a smoke free room. The room smelled like I walked it to an old school Las Vegas casino.
