Very tired hotel, needs an upgrade badly. Staff are friendly. We stayed mid week and the price was lower but wouldn't have been happy to pay the weekend rate. Bed was comfortable but it ended there.

The lobby looks great and modern. That's the only part of the hotel that is. I've stayed in Sandman hotels before and this one is very out-dated, not upto what I was expecting from Sandman. There was no mention of a room airconditioning unit which was very loud, in fact had to turn it off to sleep. Then was hot because of no air conditioning. Staff was very helpful and understanding when we checked out the next day. Just a little disappointing for us as we had higher expectations from Sandman. It was clean, but just loud A/C and outdated.

The duty manager lorell D. Was excellent a real asset. She went beyond that was expected. Ill stay here again because of her.

After checking in, we checked out and got a new hotel.

A little older, but clean. The TV was unplugged, but got it working. Then realized why it was probably unplugged, as TV kept turning back on after you shut off, and no plug in for bathroom.

Clean & convenient location. Denny’s downstairs is a bonus.

Rooms are small, double beds in all rooms with 2 beds, garbage in the halls and stairs that didn’t move for the 5 days that we were there, the hallways and stairs were not cleaned at all. Room door didn’t close properly, nor did the card reader work properly. We were a party of 12 and had 3 rooms in total for 5 days, 2 rooms I was charged the same rate, the 3 room we were charged $70 dollars more, all 3 rooms were booked at the same time, the rooms were identical with the same amount of people, and the staff was zero help at all in explaining why. Filing a complaint, worst Sandman I have ever stayed at, and will never stay at this hotel again.

Good location. Fridge and microwave stopped working. Staff couldn't fix it, so I fixed it myself.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. Unfortunately, the room had a strong unpleasant smell, which made the stay less enjoyable. I understand this may be because the building is quite old, but it would be great if something could be done to improve it.

Probably one of the worst stay I have experience. The rooms looks horrific. The guys that stays there makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. The washroom is dirty and the shower head has calcium build up. I didn't even want to take off my shoes during my stay. The staffs are overworked and unfriendly. If I have a choice, I won't choose to stay in Penticton because I will have to pay more for a poor quality property.

Clean room , nice staff, good location

Check in staff were very helpful and our room was very spacious and clean. We were facing into the pool which we found quite dark - but the room was large and bed was comfortable.
