Perfect beach location. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Quiet rooms despite being busy for the holiday weekend

This is one of my favorite properties to stay in Daytona. FL resident been coming here for about 8 years.

Spent a great 2 solo nights here! Check-in was simple and quick. Wasn't super happy about the parking fees but went with self-parking. It is across the street but they let me take my bags to my room 1st before parking and the skybridge was convenient. Every employee I interacted with was nice and helpful. The complimentary ocean terrace morning yoga was great and the Indulge spa massage was amazing! While admittedly not the most up-to-date bathroom, my room was clean and comfortable with a partial ocean view balcony. Room service was easy and fast. I do wish the hotel shop had later accessible hours for us night owls, also considering there are no microwaves in the room to reheat leftovers. But, I came here for a quick, relaxing self-care reboot and that's just what I got.

Shout out to Rosemarie (front desk) she went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Would definitely return based soley on her customer service. Everyone working there seemed to like their job so i know that place knows what its doing. Highly recommend!!

This facility is super conveniente when traveling to the beach with family. Restaurant on site and the cabana rooms couldn’t be more perfect.

Relaxing as always

When we got there to check in the attended walked away for about 10-15 minutes came back ask has someone checked in earlier for us, we knew there was going to be a problem then, we sat in lobby for about another 10 minutes when supervisor finally took said we could go to room, the room smelled so nasty it was awful, we told them they sprayed something but it didn't help, I stayed but I stayed out of my room as much as possible because I couldn't stand the smell. A used bar of soap was left in the bathroom and the tissue box had one decorative tissue in the box and the rest was empty, I usually love Hotel this is usually the only place I stay in Daytona but the last two times were awful, it seems that the up keep of rooms etc have gone down hill.

We have stayed over 10 times and The Shores never fails to deliver beautiful views, amazing ambience, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and lots of fun extras to make your stay a memorable experience!

We have been coming to The Shores for a few years now. Our experience has always been a pleasant and relaxing time. Unfortunately this year many people don't choose to follow simple rules. Several people decided to smoke around the resort. Other people decided to bring their dogs to the pool! We will definitely go back but hope other patrons will be more considerate of others.

The property was beautiful. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We are so happy we picked here to spend our 40th Anniversary.

Really liked staying here! But overall wish there wasn’t so many hidden cost with in resort fees and parking, after paying the cost per night ended up charged another $300 At check out. This felt a little deceptive, but overall the place was nice. Make sure and get your s’mores kit since you’re paying for it!!!

Absolutely adorable. Just book everything ahead of time don’t wait until you arrive. The building smells heavenly. OMG I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The staff helpful and friendly.

To big, inconvenient with little kids, cant get to everything walking distance. We were supposed to have balcony room and got a room only with small window.
