I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times. Good location, clean rooms, comfy bed.

Parking was very tight, had to squeeze my SUV around. Food was awesome, would love if hotel staff can welcome guest with complimentary water bottles.

Fantastic location, clean property, good, if a bit small, rooms. Reasonable price for the location. Great choice for a Downtown Ottawa stay.

Air conditioner was so loud I couldn't sleep. Every morning at 5am the staff would roll out the garbage and the noise was so loud it would shake the building. I stayed for 3 nights and maybe slept 6 hours.

You are within walking distance of many attractions.

Handy for Parliament Hill

The property was ok. A bit too far from center for someone with limited mobility but all in all a good hotel. Breakfast is very slow as they dont have enough staff on at a Sunday

Air conditioning was to load and room was very small. Pictures were not accurate to reality of hotel.

I was not informed prior to my arrival that refugees were living in the units. This was a disappointment for me, as I booked expecting to stay in a regular hotel environment. Had I known this information in advance, I would not have booked this property. I believe it is important for guests to be made aware of such arrangements before confirming a reservation. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve transparency for future guests.

Our experience at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Ottawa was top notch from start to finish. Nicholas at the front desk was amazingly helpful when checking us in and definitely went above and beyond. The room was clean and stocked with all the amenities! The cleaning staff came in and thoroughly cleaned our room while we were out enjoying the city and were so warm and friendly! As was the gentleman who takes care of the elevators. This hotel will be our first pick when we visit Ottawa again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Très propre et confortable

The fire alarm was malfunctioning our second night and we had to evacuate at 3am and again at 4:30 am! Certainly not a great way to start off our vacation but the staff were as helpful as possible.

Was walking distance to downtown/parliament. Had soft pillows and nice bed. Spacious room and bathroom.

The hotel charged me $30 for parking, which they did not explain clearly in their price. Also, the hotel charged me about $10 extra for booking through Expedia. So don't book using Expedia if you can.
