The property is beautiful and on the lake where you can watch all the float planes land and takeoff! Unfortunately, the rooms are very worn and the carpet should have been replaced a long time ago. The staff is very very friendly! But unfortunately, they do not have enough help to do their job and the paying customers are the real losers. We had the McKinley suite, and we open the curtains to a dumpster 5 feet from our window with pallets and all kinds of material around. it was the worst part of our vacation, unfortunately.

Beautiful, clean, updated hotel with restaurant and bar with delicious food and right on lake hood, nice view from the restaurant patio of Float planes landing and taking off. Shuttle to downtown or airport.

I didn't like the fact that no one informed me at the front desk when checking in that there was a resort fee per day. We paid an additional $300+ at check out. Also the rooms could of been cleaner and the outside where the doors to the parking lot were very dirty.

They charge an incredibly high room rate then tack on fees access, check in early fees. This is gouging at its height. The hall was a mess in process of painting etc,

Loved this place!

The photos of this hotel are misleading. It is beaten up and run down. The views are not of the lake but of the parking lot. The carpets are filthy and stained. My room smelled musty and damp and was dark. Everything is chipped and worn. Bathroom tub gross. It made me sad to be there. They charge a "resort fee" even though there are zero resort amenities.

I have stayed here a few times. Nothing changes. Same issues. For the price a night they want you would think at least there would be water un the water filter machine in the gym and the TV work. It needs an overall update. Great location but oh so dated!

Very nice place to start our vacation. 3 nights was perfect. Restaurant pretty good but woefully short on gluten free options. Had salad one night and nachos the other.

very rustic and interesting vibe, I love the feels in this hotel.

The staff was exceptional. They went above to help us with a last minute wedding chaos. The location is fantastic. The building is a bit rundown but nice. We enjoyed our stay waiting for our cruise to start.

The rooms are updated and clean, that being said the common areas including the hallways, restaurant and lobby are outdated and need remodel. The hallways look unclean, especially the carpet. There was a fire alarm at 4am and the staff did not provide any information to the guests.

The hotel is run down. Carpets a ruined, beds are so old they have body dimples in them. The upgraded shower wasn’t pitched properly so all the water runs out of the shower into the floor of the bathroom. The window ac units don’t operate properly and freeze up overnight. Dust was horrific even after service came in dust was back worse.
