Our stay at Copley hotel was excellent. The only reason I didn't give it the top rating was because the elevator was working consistently

Pros: The property was conveniently located to shops and restaurants. It was about a 15 minute walk to Fenway. Cons: When we arrived in our room the hand soap and shower wash dispensers were empty. The bathroom sink backed up and took a while to drsin

This hotel is in a GREAT location - convenient to the library, transportation, Newberry Street, and all that Copley Square has to offer. However, the beds were not all that comfortable, the elevator inadequate, not really sparklingly clean and overall just not much better than average for the price. Nice little refrigerator in the room and guest kitchen but not even a toaster in the kitchen. It worked for my purposes but I am not sure I would return.

Great location! Easy walks to Boylston and Newbury Streets or stroll Comm Ave to the Boston Common. Very quiet, too and great mattresses.

The location is excellent, near metro, near dining and shopping areas. Clean (but dark) rooms. I would say the hotel deserves some renovation/uplifting.

Older property, some rooms have a musty/moldy smell. Asked for a room change regarding this. Only one sitting chair at small desk. Only small closet for storage. No bathroom hooks. Excellent front desk staff. Very accommodating. No clock, microwave, nightlight, bathroom fan, coffee Maker. This room is minimal. However, great location

I really like this hotel, but I gave it a "good" rating instead of "excellent" because I don't think everyone would find it the latter. It has some quirks and I kept feeling as if I was in a European property. It's an old building, updated but not over the top. Things are pretty bare bones, like the coffee is in a central pantry instead of an in room coffee maker, but the up side is there isn't a lot of fussing with pouches and water and spills. The elevator is slow and sometimes disengages your call, which somehow reminded me of elevators in hotels in Europe; the broad staircase all the way down to ground level is a good alternative going down if you don't have baggage. But the location is great. The high end mall is across the street and there's a huge grocery store next door. Newbury street is just a couple of easy blocks away. If you want some upscale food and drink there are plenty of high end hotels around. Parking can be pricey.

The room was not very clean with Cobb webs in the chandelier, in the room and dust in the interior doors. The bed was a little lumpy and itchy.

Great base to explore Boston - on foot and using the excellent public transport including the T subway. Bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. I thought the lack of an in house bar and dining was a shame as last time this was on offer. The guest kitchen although clean was pretty soulless . The bar on site was run by external provider and had no atmosphere and no customers much. A very expensive beer .

The location was excellent. We were close to shopping, public transportation and it was a quiet street. We had a big room with plenty of space. The only downside was that there was only one elevator and that was slow.

The hotel was an ok, nothing fancy. I was staying at Fairmount Copley Plaza a day before ($350ish). I decided to stay an extra night and we t with cheaper option ($230). I should paid an extra $120 and should stayed at Fairmount. The difference is late and day. my room at the hotel was right next to the gym right by the street loud and the TV was not working. The couple Plaza was so much nicer. Better gym quieter pretty much better. The service was top notch.
