Great stay at The Shelbourne. Close to Dublin area attractions, across from the main city park, local pubs nearby and an overall great hotel with helpful staff.

Old world charm..

Excellent hotel staff could not do enough .

Stayed here for 2 nights in March. Hotel was very local to parks and other attractions. Loved the hotel bar, staff was friendly and willing to make anything we asked for. Hotel is gorgeous - would stay here again!

Super location with park across from hotel, easy walking and access to eateries and shopping Historic landmarks are easy access too

Superb hotel as always with outstanding service. Only complaint I would have is the miniature toiletries provided. Pity the hotel is not more eco-friendly. Otherwise outstanding!!

What a wonderful stay my wife and I had, the establishment is beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Rosa helped us with our stay and her advice touring around the city was great help. If you have a chance I would greatly recommend this Hotel. Thank you for the great experience.

Great stay

Extraordinary stay at a premier hotel whose staff is friendly thoughtful and accommodating. They certainly make you feel special.

We were really excited about stay in the shelbourne for NYE. We felt like 2nd Class citizens for most of our stay to be honest. From the welcome at reception to the service in the resistance bar. We booked a junior suite for a family of 4 and were very disappointed with the size of the standard double beds ( we were expecting king or queen at best). The suite itself was beautiful ly decorated with a Christmas tree and somw lovely treats for the kids on turn down.

Upon arrival, no valet staff present which is ok as it was seriously busy. Check in difficult, staff member kept walking away to deal with other things instead of focusing on what she was doing. Luggage was left laying on the floor but we were assured “it would be fine” despite bell trolleys being empty nearby. I was advised someone would ring us when the room was ready, they never did. Room service breakfast missing items and notes added to the order where ignored. I went here as a child often and honestly it’s just not what I remember, oversubscribed and understaffed.

Had a couple’s night out in Dublin & we wanted a top hotel. The location is perfect in the middle of Dublin and the staff very friendly. Breakfast not included which is hard to believe given the price but there were plenty of other options around. A top class hotel for when you want the best stay in Dublin.

Wonderful experience! What you would expect from a five star hotel. The morning breakfast is top-notch and not standard continental fare.

Pure luxury

The shelbourne offers a wonderful experience at a beautiful grand hotel. The rooms, beds, service and food provide an excellent experience. Everyone must experience this hotel if visiting Dublin, especially during the holiday season. It is a one of a kind !!
