Great historic property, the staff was not pleasant to deal with. Very loud noises early in the morning that sounded like construction above us. They didn’t care at all, I was shocked.

The hotel security and local New Orleans police are god awful horrible serial killer lying psychopaths thieves and imposters- scum of America and unashamed and rotten to be around

This is a beautiful and historic property in a great location in the French Quarter. Even though it was right across the street from a fire station, my room was surprisingly quiet. Like many older hotels it is showing its age in places, but the staff were super friendly and the location is so convenient. I would stay here again.

Loved it. Beds were comfy, the front desk service was phenomenal. Only issue was air wasn’t cool in the room. We got a fan and it was perfect

The beds were amazing , so comfortable. No hotel market,only vending machines on 3rd floor.Was very clean and well kept .

I stayed here with 7 friends for my bachelorette weekend and we had the time of our lives. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were excellent - kind, courteous, accommodating. I had a package delivered and a friend lost their keys, the staff made sure both got to us. Fantastic location right downtown, I highly recommend.

This hotel was gorgeous! On the Historical Hotels list and well worth it. It was clean and the daily housekeeping was great. It's very well stocked. We loved the chicory coffee, it was a nice touch. The staff was SO sweet! Every single one talked to us each time they saw us. Please note the photos on the site. We booked the patio room expecting a view. There's a six foot wall blocking any view which was disappointing. Staff offered to move us but we really didn't want to at that point. Please look closely at photos to avoid confusion like I had. Pool area is lovely, albeit a tad small. We never had a problem getting a chair or it being too crowded. They offered lemonade and cookies each afternoon which was lovely. The restaurant: probably the best food we had in NOLA which completely shocked us. It's an adorable tiki bar with fun drinks. The Korean Bao buns were spectacular!!

It’s an old school New Orleans Hotel run by a family. You can tell they take pride in their property!

The only negative thing I would have to say would be the water pressure and the pool. The pool was dirty and we were unable to swim in it, and there is very little water pressure. Our room was very nice and the staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to make our stay one will will never forget. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel gives us the look and essence of old time New Orleans. Our room is beautifully acquainted with a sotting balcony overlooking the pool. The lobby is elegant and friendly. We were concerned about where we were going to park but there is a drive thru and after unloading a valet takes your car to a private and secure lot. The best experience is with Adrience Munroe who works the fromt dest and check in- she is the nicest and best we have ever come across and knows evryones name and is always there to help enjoy your stay with grace and kindness.

Check in was perfect. Friendly and accommodating. TV was broken. Couldn’t get it fixed. Next day at front desk apologies and $25 discount plus tax given. Night desk attendant not as cordial as daytime folks. But, she was powerless to fix. Thomas did his best. Room door did not close completely without additional effort that

Lovely and charming

Great location for a New Orleans visit. Rooms are large and comfy. My only issue was the street noise that woke us up at night.

The hospitality was the best we've ever experienced. I would get a deluxe room next time as ours had no window. We would definitely stay there again.
