Loved the breakfast and the building is lovely… rooms need a refurbish

For the price, renovations are needed to the rooms and daily cleaning should be done. I dropped a shirt on the floor and it was filthy.

We have been away fo 5 weeks in 5 star hotels and this is easily the best Excellent service

The bed spring were old and not very comfort- definitely time for new mattresses.

I’m extremely disappointed with this hotel and genuinely do not understand how it qualifies as a 5-star property. In my opinion, it is closer to a 3-star hotel. The service throughout my stay was consistently poor. Staff responsiveness and overall guest experience were far below expectations for a hotel in this category and price range. The rooms feel outdated and in need of renovation, and the bathroom was surprisingly small and inconvenient for a supposed luxury property. The biggest issue was housekeeping, which was among the worst I have experienced. Dirty towels were left on the floor and not removed, trash was not picked up, and the room floor was never cleaned. One evening I had to go to reception myself to request towels and carry them back because none had been replaced. Another night I had to request toiletries because they were not restocked. I also requested chamomile tea after speaking with reception earlier in the day. After calling again and waiting about 30 minutes, I found the receptionist outside smoking while I was still waiting. These experiences reflected a lack of attention to detail and service standards expected from a 5-star hotel. I booked expecting a luxury experience, but unfortunately this hotel did not deliver. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone looking for true luxury accommodations.

Location, location, location. This hotel is situated in the heart of the shopping district and close walks to many historic attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful. A nice place to stay.

The hotel was so beautiful. The staff very helpful and accommodating. The room was very roomy and comfortable with a couch to relax on. I definitely want to come back.

The hotel is absolutely stunning especially if you want to experience true Italian architecture. It’s in the most central location. Staff was superb, rooms were clean and breakfast was exceptional. I give this place an A++ rating.

The location and surrounding area was perfect. Allowed us to easily have multiple options for dinner and see surrounding sites. The hotel rooms were large and spacious.

I had an absolutely delightful stay here. I was in the loft terrace room and originally planned on staying a week but the view, the cosiness and the incredible atmosphere and helpful staff made me rebook for a week longer! The location is ideal, within walking distances to everything youd ever need. The room is incredibly cosy and the staff were always helpful and happy to help in any way they could. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will be coming back as soon as possible. Cant recommend it highly enough!!

She is a tired old girl. Plumbing was old, had to call the technician for the toilet twice a day. Turndown service first night only. Pretty bar room, but hard to get service. Totally not worth what we paid. There are many luxurious hotels in rome… this is not one.

the hotel is beautiful and keeps their history instead of looking like modern hotels and why i liked grand hotel . i stayed here back in 2003 and it was a great stay but the staff were nice but did not go out of their way to help . now , the staff has really stepped up . took care of our every need . 1 of our jackets fell into a puddle and was soaked . they dried it and had it to us before we needed it to go to dinner . amazing service . cant wait to stay here again

Great facility with beautiful decor and spacious room, bar, dining room and lounge areas. Bed was a little soft for my liking, but otherwise clean. Great location!

The hotel was not worth the money. It was billed as a 5-star hotel but was extremely dated. The hotel was musty and had strange smells throughout, money notably in our room. The TV didn’t work, the wifi did not work in our room (but did in other parts of the hotel so we were in a dead spot). Cell service was not available in the hotel either (old thick walls) so I was in the internet dark. The staff was friendly but interaction was very limited. Not worth it - needs a major facelift and modern upgrade.
