Beautiful hotel in an excellent location.

Ein beeindruckendes Hotel mit erstklassigem Ambiente, aber Service mit Luft nach oben Mein Aufenthalt im Grand Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski war insgesamt angenehm, doch im Vergleich zu meinem letzten Besuch (vor der Renovierung) musste ich einige Abstriche beim Service machen. Check-In & Empfang: Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, ich fühlte mich sofort willkommen. Besonders angenehm war, dass mich die Rezeptionistin sogar persönlich zum Zimmer begleitete – ein schöner Touch, der echten Luxus widerspiegelt. Zimmer & Renovierung: Ich erhielt das gleiche Zimmer wie bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt und war absolut begeistert vom neuen Design! Die Renovierung ist hervorragend gelungen, mein Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten, hochwertig ausgestattet und wirkte modern, ohne den klassischen Charme des Hauses zu verlieren. Gastronomie & Room Service: Leider konnte mich der Service in den Restaurants und beim Room Service dieses Mal nicht überzeugen. Das Essen im Palais Restaurant war ausgezeichnet, und der Service war zwar aufmerksam, aber wenig herzlich – fast lustlos. Auch beim Room Service, den ich mehrfach für Frühstück und Abendessen nutzte, erlebte ich das gleiche Gefühl von Distanz. Nicht unfreundlich, aber auch nicht warm und gastfreundlich. Zudem fehlte auf dem Serviertisch die sonst übliche Blumendekoration – eine Kleinigkeit, die in der Luxushotellerie aber einen großen Unterschied macht. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt: Afternoon Tea im Café Amalie. Ich freute mich sehr darauf

An excellent hotel in a historic setting.

Now renovated this has always been an excellent hotel and is now even better. Handy for the Opera, Zwinger and Green Galleries. One of my all time favourites.

All people were so kind, and service was amazed. Of course the location is perfect for young childeren, this hotel should be one of options to keep your energy :)

It is a wonderful hotel, we had a great experience.

The only thing that was not excellent was the water temperature knob at the shower.

Fantastic experience in a historic building

This is a very special 5-star hotel. Standing at the entrance gate of this former palace, the Dresden Opera House (Semperoper) and the Zwinger palace are right next door. High ceilings with beautiful crown moldings decorate the hallways and rooms. Our room had an extra half bath—a first. Service was immaculate.

Lovely pool Well situated very close to simper Oper and zwinger This is a luxury hotel you get what you pay for On arrival by car one is met the bags are taken the car is parked and three minutes later the bags arrive in the room Lavish but expensive breakfast but there are cheaper cafes nearby I stay here whenever in Dresden because it is so nice Strongly recommended to anyone who can afford the upper end of the hotel market
