Best thing about this hotel is location, you can walk to all the spots . This was my second visit to SOlvang and realise parking can be an issue. Using this stay we did not have to drive at all. Rooms are a bit dated . And complimentary breakfast is little dull, however since we were planning to eat breakfast at Olsen's or other bakeries so no complaints there. There is a coffee shop right across the street from this which has good breakfast options too. Overall a good spot because of location if you are here with family.

Great location big room my family loved it especially the fireplace.front Erik was great he’s was the guy at the front desk he even helped me out when I had car trouble. A+ service thanks Again Erik, We will return soon.

Great room, clean and big

the place is old but very clean and the room was large had a fire place (gas not wood). Very cute, it was better than I was expecting. Price was good.

Hotel is run down and old. Desperately needs some maintenance, and new furnishings. We stayed here last minute because of the close location to everything, but we quickly regretted it. Curtains were torn, beds were very old, linens were not clean, everything gave me the "ick" feeling. I honestly couldn't wait to check out. Absolutely will not be staying here again. At least until they update and do some deep cleaning. The front desk staff could also use some customer service training, as they were not very welcoming and didn't provide any information about anything happening at the hotel or if there was breakfast etc...

The staff was great only draw back for us are the walls must be pretty thin I could hear the people next to us talking and could hear their tv .

Closer to town

This is the first time and last we stay at this motel. The rooms are very outdated and the carpet smells. As soon as, you walk in it smells stale as if it’s been a closed up room. If you want a good night sleep don’t stay here. The walls and ceiling are so thin that you can hear the other guests flush the toilet. We stayed on the 2nd floor and you can hear other guests talk and hear them walking and running on the floor above you. For the price we paid we expected more. They have no cable and their doors are so outdated and feel insecure.

Very expensive and outdated rooms. For the price, they only offered coffee and donuts for breakfast. The rooms smelled bad, the shower was terrible, and the air conditioner was extremely noisy and barely worked. The beds were also very uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money.
