Bellefontaine is such a cute, charming town it would have been nice had the hotel been more so.
Check in was good, the girls at the front desk was friendly.
Upon parking and unloading we entered the back of the hotel where hall lights seemed to be out or bulbs were burned out.
Instantly felt depressing.
The room was clean and probably recently remodeled. We had a great view of the pool that wasn't operational despite it being late May.
Workout facility was tiny and sparse with equipment.
Breakfast typical powdered eggs, paper bacon, waffles and biscuits and gravy (the gravy was in a pot and they used plastic to contain it- carcinogenic- yuck!
Overall despite it being clean I'm glad we only stayed overnight.
There has to be something better for lodging around
