Les Suites is probably my favourite place to stay when in Ottawa. The hotel (one, or two bedroom suites) is set up like an apartment. The suite has a small butt full kitchen. There is a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove, and even the supplies you need like plates, cutlery, cooking your tonsils, pots and pans. The suite even comes equipped with a laundry room. For those staying long-term, this is great! The bends are super comfortable. The suite has always been clean anytime I’ve been there. You have a full-size living room with a pullout couch and TV, as well as a table and chairs capable of sitting for people. My daughter and her friends quite like the pool at this hotel, as well as its gym. (It’s a safe hotel as you are required to swipe your room key card when getting on the elevator.) The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to ByWard Market. There are lots of shopping and dining experiences nearby. It really is a great set up. You feel at home in this hotel! And that is probably why it’s my top choice when visiting Ottawa.

The updated "MODERN" suites are nice. The pool was, of course, as always, whenever you want a place to have the pool open, they never do... closed.

We had a great stay! Marie on the front desk was very friendly, checked us in quite early and upgraded our room! THANKS , it was great!! We were travelling with two small children and the 2 bedroom modern unit was very spacious and safe for the kids to play . Very close to restaurants, shopping, and grocery store. Location was perfect for us. The room itself wasn’t cleaned to the standard you would hope for a hotel (earplug left on floor in bedroom, quite dusty) but it didn’t hinder our stay as we were happy to have the extra space that you don’t normally get when renting hotel rooms. Also the pool was closed for maintenance which was poor timing on our behalf but you can walk a block down the road to the neighbouring hotel if you wanted to use the pool there. We didn’t, but it was nice to have the option. All in all it was a great stay and staff was super friendly and helpful. Will come back when looking to stay in downtown Ottawa !

While the room was very spacious, it stank of old cigarette smoke and the carpet looks very old and dirty.

Friendly staff, great location

It was ok - a large hotel room with otherwise unremarkable appointments. I stayed in one of the older rooms, and it was looking every bit its age. From phantom light switches that didn't seem to do anything, to dim and depressing lighting, I'm always amazed that a suite with a couch can somehow be aggressively uncomfortable. Anyway, the location is good if you want to be close to downtown and the market.

Modern suites with great amenities, staff were helpful with requests, and easy access to the Byward market area. If you have an oversized vehicle, be sure to ask about the parking options; we experienced some difficulty but worked it out.

Didn’t like the hotel

Clean, lots of room. Modern large kitchen. Great for families or business trips when staying two or more nights. Check-in was fast and staff were courteous.

Rooms were ok. Cleanliness issue

The pull out couch in the king sized bed suite was incredibly uncomfortable. The actual bed was comfy and the suite was great though.

We had a wonderful stay. Excellent customer service. Great property and amenities. Location can't be beat. Highly recommend. Will stay again.

I love it here! Everything was perfect.

Les Suites always meets our needs - more space than a regular hotel room which we really enjoy. On-site parking is a plus and being able to leave the vehicle parked there after checkout is a handy bonus.

Very close to Byward market, shopping and dining. Very spacious rooms with king size bed. Checked in early which was nice and they upgraded our room free of charge.
