Atrocious staff never stay here

The room was very small, did not have a microwave. The mini fridge was sitting on the ground and broke. It was set to high and would not turn down so it froze everything we put in and we couldn’t use it. The valet took 10 mins to bring the car because the hotel does not have a parking garage . They use one around the corner. We previously told them we did not want to pay for overnight parking just a couple hours and they still charged my card. Worst hotel I have ever been too.

The hotel had a great coffee bar and great front desk host. Otherwise, boring

Hotel charged us an extra $330 when we checked in. First day we had no hot water, and the staff at the front desk told us it was "warm enough" Eventually they fixed it on day two.

There were alot of hidden fees that were not disclosed before booking the room. I ended up paying twice as much after all of the hidden fees. I will not book this hotel again and i would not recommend it to anyone.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to the dirt on the ground no one should stay here the bar has been closed since for ever from the reviews Matthew is the only one working it’s no bellhop’s not one to valet you don’t have to use a keycard to get to any of the floors the staff are rude and fraudulent they have roaches I have photos of everything I experienced at this place things accrued 4/10/25 when I woke up on 4/11/25 more money had been taken out of my account I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau I will continue to give this place low ratings and complaints Matthew called the cops and asked me to leave the property multiple times because I wanted a refund and I wasn’t leaving until I was refunded so many others have said how they got scammed from this particular hotel in downtown Chicago the employee wasn’t answering the phone for the third party and stated they couldn’t release any information for the higher up I guess since the cops was present and had to ask multiple times for information to be released for me to contact another fraudulent employee Michael award which also isn’t professional I’ve literally talked to on a personal cellphone it seems like he doesn’t even have a office I will be getting my legal team involved with this business

Charges resort fees

Medical visit with my son. This property is always very accommodating.

Beware of the resort fee that includes 6 bottles of water and a $25 restaurant.com card. The room was a little run down. But it was clean.

Worst customer service, front desk guy Matthew, Tony or whoever, had grey short fringe cut, Latino brother. RUDE, DISMISSIVE, treated the couple in front of me like absolute crap. I wasn't aware of an entire EXTRA 125 bucks and then an ADDITIONAL 75 bucks on top of the $119 I payed for a room that was supposed to be $37 bucks. That's quite the big jump in price hiking in literally EVERYONE'S opinion. Please refund me every single penny. I stayed not a second, was super nice, patient and sweet to the front desk guy and was rudely made aware that I have basically been scammed. To go from thinking a room.is $37 bucks to then it becoming well over $200 close to $300 or more is outrageous. Refund it ALL. The cancellation policy too. Nowhere on the webpage does it say anything about it and I DO have screenshots. Cancel that $9 insurance protection as well. All and each and every single penny of MY hard earned $119 that was taken off my card. Punching numbers in at a desk for a few seconds doesn't mean my money should be kept. It's done by computers anyhow cuz it's Sunday today at 8:39pm on April 6th. Please FULLY REFUND ME MY MONEY. I SHOULDNT HAVE TO WAIT TO GET MY OWN MONEY BACK WHEN IT TOOK LITERALLY SECONDS TO SNATCH IT .GIVE IT ALL BACK. PLEASE AND THANK YOU AND PLEASE BE SURE TO NOTIFY THE CORPORATE OFFICE OF THAT FRONT DESK GUYS EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISMISSIVE MANNER AND ACTIONS HE GAVE OFF WHEN HE UNPROVOKED PROVIDED NOT JUST ME BUT THAT SWEET OBVIOUSLY TIRED WHITE COUPLE.

The service at the front desk was absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t even recommend my dog to this place. At 11:00 at night it was kids running around in the hallway. It was very noisy. For what I paid I feel like it should have been a lot better.

it should be noted that this is not a 4 star hotel. i spoke with the operations manager after expressing disappointment with my stay (no wifi, no working TVs, no room servicing, hotel bar is closed, rooftop is closed, minimal amenities, couldn't even get food delivered to my door) and he told me that, in spite of the listing on hotels.com, this is not a 4 star hotel. false advertising, poor service, uncomfortable stay. you're better off elsewhere.

The hotel offers a $25 food voucher, that they don’t give you. When you ask they just have you put your name on a list. Sky deck was never open. The fact that they make you pay a resort fee when they don’t offer anything but free coffee.

Customer service could have been better. Also, has a city view room. Windows were blocked with some type of metal barrier. I only saw the top of two near by buildings which I’m very familiar with. Some advice, book directly with hotel for better pricing; and be prepared for additional fees.

After paying what I believe to be the entire three nights stay via Expedia, I arrived at the hotel only to find out that there were $282 in hidden fees. I was required to pay in order to get my hotel room. This was not just happening to me either, in fact, it was the reason that it took us almost an hour in line to check into the hotel. Everyone in line ahead of us was also surprised to find the hotel was insisting they pay additional hidden fees in order to obtain their room keys, even though they believe they had already paid the entire cost of their stay in advance.

Very quite, inexpensive, clean hotel!
