Rooms are clean and well equipped but look a little tired. Lunch time menu was restricted and expensive, but food was nice. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and it was constantly being replenished. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel. We loved the spa but it could use some updating. We lost power and water one one of our days here, which we had to get ready for a wedding that day, so that was a bit stressful, but the spa was open and had power and water so that was good. The rooms could use updating, but overall, weren’t bad. The restaurant was incredible, the food was truly the best we had on our entire trip in the UK. Overall, weren’t felt 4 starts was pretty spot on. The rooms were maybe more on the 3 stars side, but the restaurant and service bump it up.

Wonderful historic property that both offered seclusion, city and airport access. We would definitely stay at Norton House again.

Great little oasis by the airport. Chose this based on closeness to the airport for leaving the next day, only 5-10 min. Great location, quiet, and the grounds around were very nice. Easy parking on-site. Rooms were very nice and clean. Only issue is there is no lift and had to use stairs. Restaurant was very nice and breakfast was good. If you like wine, they have a great selection. Nice place, would highly recommend.

Beds were very small and hard with a lot of wear to the headboards. Did not sleep well. Upgraded to balcony room, but nowhere to sit, so wad not useful. Food was great for dinner and just marginal for breakfast. Staff was very kind. Decent property, but definitely not luxury and not worth the price.

It was a beautiful property with a very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable room and we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for just one night so we’re not able to enjoy the full experience. The weather was unusually warm so we upgraded to a room with AC. The AC didn’t really cool the room so we ultimately had to open the slider to cool the room. Our experience would likely have been more enjoyable if we had stayed longer and didn’t have to utilize AC.

Wish we could have stayed longer! It was fantastic.

Spa was terrific and room so comfortable

The chairs outside were filthy and large hamoc/chair broken. Simple, just don't put them out until they are ready. Service/friendliness not great considering the fact you are paying high end rates. Room was luxurious, good was great, spa area was lively - massages skip, paid for 25min and got about 15min for a high price. Basically you pay,for the day,spa + the massage, at,minimum it should have been a full 25min.

We had to leave the property before breakfast and the staff provided us with to go bags including a yogurt and fruit and croissant. The hotel property was beautiful and conducive to a nice walk

It was an acceptable place to stay, but nothing was particularly special about it. The bed/pillows were not comfortable.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed when an issue with the broiler I believe was having issues so the amenities at the spa were limited. They did offer a free cancellation but we had our trip planned months in advance and to find a hotel stay somewhere else at the last minute would have been pricey and difficult due to a festival that was going on. Very disappointed that the spa was not able to be utilized and they did not offer another type of credit or discount on the price of the stay as they should care very much about the hospitality for their guests. It was a charming hotel but we just did not have the experience we were expecting and hoping for. Because of this, I would not recommend staying there unless you have no other choice.

Excellent from the staff in the reception area, the beautiful facilities, super clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, great restaurant and excellent breakfast. All I have to say that this is one of my favorite places to stay. Love the spacious bathrooms, and the staff was very helpful assisting me with mailing something on my behalf.
