Bug found in my room and electrical outlet in bathroom doesn’t work

Great location A little dated

It's like stepping into the 70s with a 90s vibe and you'll see many comeback kids...it's like a dream Hotel California in Stamford CT.

Nice place. Reasonably priced. Beds were firm but pillows hard and flat

STAFF HERE IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THIS IS A COMFORTABLE AND QUIET PROPERTY AND IS LOCATED FOR EASY ACCESS. I STAY HERE EVERY TIME I WORK IN THE AREA WHICH IS ABOUT ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH. I AM A VERY SATISFIED REPEAT PATRON.

We were driving from Maryland to Massachusetts (left at 5 pm) and getting tired so decided to get a hotel for the night. Figured getting out of NYC to avoid traffic in the morning (and those rough roads) so Connecticut was it and Stamford would be ideal off I-95. The prices of other places were absurd for what we needed so we were pleasantly content when this Ambassador Hotel popped up in the search. It has the older structure and decor which honestly I like because of its style. Plenty of parking in the back of the building and easy access to bring your luggage into the hotel with the ramp. The hotel clerk was friendly and when their registration machine was acting up after he confirmed our reservation, he let us proceed to our room since it was after 10 pm and my husband probably looked exhausted. Room was nice, bed is a bit firm and we laughed since there were so many review comments about the flat pillows, which they were but I don't use a pillow. If you want a fluffy pillow, I suppose people can spend $150-200 more at another hotel. They layout of hotel was interesting. I would walk down one stairway but when I took the stairs back up, was in a different hallway . . Perfect to wake me up and get my legs to stretch. Continental breakfast: muffins, bagels, croissant, waffle for the toaster. 2 packaged cereal and milk in a carafe for it. OJ, coffee/tea option. Since hubby has gluten allergy, the banana & apple were only thing he could eat. Still worth it

The property was well maintained The rooms were clean. The bed was horrible we had to go down to the local store and buy an air mattress to sleep on. The staff was friendly absolutely gorgeous flowers around the building. But the bed was super a problem to have to spend $50 on an air mattress just to make it through the night

Room smelled like cigarettes...the neighborhood very sketchy..no way walk alone at night..."exercise room" all broken equipment...elevator broke during the stay.,.shower controls awful couldnt figure hot from cold...the front desk was friendly...this place is awful....one star at best...dont be fooled by high ratings...if you want cheap, unsafe area, smelly, noisy room...be my guest....

The rooms were large and comfortable. Close off highway 95 and food available within walking distance. Very convenient.

Plenty of parking spots. Tight area. Dated hotel in total. No ice machine. Beds were hard.

The best value in Stamford

Was called at 3:00 that they over booked and had no room for us very poor management had booked in March for the wedding and to be told last minute

Average. Registration lounge was clean as was the guest room and bathroom. Breakfast was ok. Breakfast tables were clearly not cleaned between uses. Generally an average facility.

It's was fine. A bit dated.
